Pro-Hamas miscreants burn flags, clash with cops in anti-Netanyahu thuggery

Violent, unhinged pro-Hamas demonstrators rioted outside Washington D.C.’s Union Station this Wednesday after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered an address to Congress.

“Absolute chaos” erupted after the rioters tried to take down and burn one of the U.S. flags that flew outside Union Station.

Police were forced to intervene, according to Julio Rosas of TheBlaze:

The rioters also tried to replace another American flag with the Palestinian flag, and they burned an effigy of Netanyahu.

“Pro-Hamas agitators were seen tagging a Christopher Columbus statue in Union Square with ‘Hamas is coming’ and burning an effigy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as well as an American flag,” Fox News reported.

When a patriot tried to save the flag seen in the above photos, the mob of unhinged pro-Hamas lunatics chased him while screaming, “GET HIM!”

Besides messing with the American flag, the rioters also vandalized the Christopher Columbus Memorial Foundation and Bell.

Sen. Marco Rubio later addressed the vandals in a video recorded from the Senate floor:

“I grabbed what I could out of the fire and ran,” the patriot later told reporter Richie McGinniss. “I’m ashamed I didn’t stop and go back and get the rest of it.”

Republicans were quick to denounce the riots.

“Less than a mile from the U.S. Capitol, pro-Hamas protestors have taken down and burned AMERICAN FLAGS at Union Station to fly Palestinian flags,” Sen. Tommy Tuberville tweeted. “Absolutely SHAMEFUL.”

“Pro-terror, anti-Israel agitators are vandalizing federal property, removing American flags, and replacing them with Palestinian flags steps away from the United States Capitol,” Sen. John Barrasso tweeted. “This is inexcusable, and I expect them to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

“Hamas flags, slogans about killing Jews, harassment of @CapitolPolice officers, vandalism, burnt American flags, & hanged effigies of PM Netanyahu,” House Foreign Affairs Committee chair Michael McCaul added in a tweet of his own. “These are just some of the appalling scenes at protests around the U.S. Capitol today.”

Speaking before Congress, Netanyahu himself also condemned the riots, which he accused of being funded by Iran.

“For all we know, Iran is funding the anti-Israel protests that are going on right now outside this building,” he said. “Well, I have a message for these protesters. When the tyrants of Tehran, who hang gays from cranes and murder women for not covering their hair, are praising, promoting, and funding you, you have officially become Iran’s useful idiots.”

A very few sane Democrats — most Democrats purposefully snubbed Netnayahu’s address — also spoke out.

“I never imagined seeing the flag of a terror group holding eight Americans hostage for 292 days waved in the streets of our nation’s Capitol,” Democrat Rep. Dean Phillips tweeted.

“The Jew hate and anti-American garbage coming out of college campuses this spring didn’t end with the last day of school,” wrote Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D-MA). “College presidents, you’re on notice: Enforce your codes of conduct from day one of the fall semester.”
