‘Pro-life’ Kanye wears ultrasound photo around his neck and a Trump hat – no wonder he is so feared

Kanye West followed up on his recent “White Lives Matter” T-shirt controversy at Paris Fashion Week with a rather insightful interview on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” and viewers got a sense right out of the gate that there was some depth to the rapper whose legal name is now Ye — an interview that was in many ways a case study in how committed the left is to controlling the message and preventing individual thought.

Host Tucker Carlson took note of the Paris Fashion Week lanyard West was still wearing when they sat down in his Los Angeles office, asking the billionaire entrepreneur what it means.

“It’s a photograph of a baby’s ultrasound,” West replied. “It just represents life. I’m pro-life.”

When asked about the response he gets in wearing it as a badge, West answered, “I don’t care about people’s response as I care about the fact that there is more black babies being aborted than born in New York City at this point — 50% of black death in America is abortion. I don’t care about people’s responses, I perform for an audience of one and that is God.”

(He would also remind viewers that Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger was an avowed eugenicist and a member of the Socialist Party.)

An impressed Carlson followed up by asking West when he began to realize the need to be more vocal about his personal beliefs.

“I think I started to really feel this need to express myself on another level when Trump was running for office and I liked him,” the rapper replied. “And every single person in Hollywood from my ex-wife, to my mother-in-law, to my manager at that time, to my so-called friends slash handlers around me told me that if I said I liked Trump that my career would be over, and my life would be over.”

“They said stuff like people get killed for wearing a hat like that,” he continued. “They threatened my life. They put my life… They basically said that I would be killed for wearing the hat. I had someone call me last night and said, ‘Anybody wearing a White Lives Matter shirt is going to be green-lit,’ and that means that they’re going to beat them up if they wear it. I’m like, you know, green light me then.”
