Pro-Palestinian protestors clash with police, innocent civilians stabbed as ‘Day of Jihad’ explodes

In response to the call for a global “day of Jihad” from former Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal, an employee at the Israeli Embassy in China has been stabbed, a police vehicle was hijacked in Sweden, a teacher has been stabbed to death in France, and, in Jordan, pro-Palestinian protestors are fighting police in an attempt to breach the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

At the Israeli Embassy in Beijing, an unnamed staffer was reportedly stabbed multiple times on Friday by a male assailant. The victim “was transferred to hospital and he is in a stable condition,” the Israeli Foreign Ministry said, according to the New York Post.

The attack follows China’s call for “an early cease-fire and the end of violence, and resuming talks for peace on the basis of the two-state solution to boost the two peoples’ confidence in achieving peace.”

The statement was criticized by Israeli Ambassador Rafi Harpaz who said in a statement that there was “no clear and unequivocal condemnation of the terrible massacre committed by the terrorist organization Hamas against innocent civilians and the abduction of dozens of them to Gaza.”

“The Chinese announcements do not contain any element of Israel’s right to defend itself and its citizens, a fundamental right of any sovereign country that was attacked in an unprecedented manner and with cruelty that has no place in human society,” the statement read, according to The Post.

In Sweden, pro-Palestinian protestors reportedly commandeered a police car as the demonstrations turned violent.

“Sweden now has 61 ‘no-go zones’ where the police basically have given up and allow what they call ‘parallel societies,'” reported the popular Wall Street Silver X account. “Sweden has recently elected a new government that is promising to deport more and cut off the fake refugee issue.”

“We will see if they can turn it around,” the account said. “It might be too late.”

At the Lycee Gambetta high school in Arras, France, a teacher was fatally stabbed and two other people were wounded by a 20-year-old former student, Reuters reports.

While many are reporting that the assailant was yelling “Allahu Akbar” as he attacked, Reuters says that police have been unable to confirm that detail.

In Yeman, the streets are filled with pro-Palestinian protestors.

And, in Jordan, police and protestors faced off as Palestine sympathizers attempted to breach the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

According to online reports, “Jordan’s King Abdullah has ordered the security forces to block any protestors from crossing the Jordan-Israel-Palestine borders.”

Closer to home, U.S. Capitol Police is “enhancing security” around the complex, according to the Washington Post.

The irony isn’t lost on X users.

“Wait… are you saying the ‘Defund The Police’ people are calling for more police in response to the Hamas ‘Day of Rage’ threat?” asked one user. “Why not recruit an army of social workers?”
