U.S. Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) was given a trip down memory lane from a Twitter/X user who reminded her of the time she was allegedly helped out by his white Christian military father at a time when she was struggling.
Bush, a Black Lives Matter activist who has specialized in spewing racially incendiary rhetoric since being elected to Congress where she was quickly recruited as a member of AOC”s “Squad” of mouthy socialists, took to the social media platform to claim that she was once homeless and had to live in a car with her kids to announce that she was reintroducing her bill calling for an equity-based remedy to the housing crisis.
“I know what it’s like to be unhoused, I once lived in my car with my two children,” Bush wrote. No one should have to experience that. That’s why I’ve reintroduced the Unhoused Bill of Rights.”
I know what it’s like to be unhoused, I once lived in my car with my two children.
No one should have to experience that.
That’s why I’ve reintroduced the Unhoused Bill of Rights.

“My children and I have personally experienced the trauma, stress, stigma and pain that comes with being unhoused. Our veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and our youth are disproportionately at risk of becoming unhoused. Being able to afford a safe place to live is a human right that has been undermined by intentional policy decisions,” Bush said in a statement posted to her website.
Rep. Bush’s announcement caught the attention of the Twitter/X user who goes by the handle @jimmyfswanson who claimed that his father had been kind enough to not toss her out of his house after she quit paying rent, alleging that he allowed her to leech off of him for a year when the military man was ordered to relocate and had to rent out his Missouri residence to the freeloading Democrat.
“You also once lived in my parents home in Hazelwood MO and stopped paying rent for almost 2 years. It was a conservative Christian army service men that helped you for quite some time. Do you ever talk about that or have you ever thanked my Dad for that charitable support?” the user wrote in an inconvenient intrusion upon Bush’s constant griping about black victimhood at the hands of the white male oppressors.

In a response to another user, the man’s son said that his dad nearly was bankrupted because of Bush.
My dad was extremely forgiving to a fault. Almost went bankrupt for it.

He later provided an update, correcting himself on the time period as well as providing additional details, “I stand corrected! It was 1 year. My dad pulled out the rental contract and notice to vacate to confirm. Longest year of my families life.”

“He was a single home owner who was on duty and ordered to Maryland causing my family to rent their first home in MO. It was a terrible experience and the other side of the eviction narrative is never told,” Jimmy wrote. *Note, my dad didn’t even execute the eviction, he waited until school was out 5 months after the notice to vacate and they agreed but she only paid for 3-4 total months of that year.”
Twitter/X users reacted to his story as well as Rep. Bush’s ingratitude and outsized sense of entitlement.
I doubt she viewed that as charity, probably more like a right to have a roof over her head, even at someone else’s expense.

Now that she’s making $174,500 a year, has Rep Bush ever offered to make good on her debt?
— Anony Mee (@oh_yeahMee) August 1, 2023
I bet she considered it to be his reparations that he owed her.
— Jack Fleming Jr (@JackFlemingJr) August 1, 2023
If true this proves what a fraud she is! As they say let these political grifters keep talking and they will show you who they are…. And it’s homeless. Unhoused is a made up word
— John Novotny (@oldlaxer1) August 1, 2023
Sounds to me like it’s payback time for @CoriBush. Maybe a lawsuit is in order? Or perhaps file a police report for theft. She clearly stole from your family.
Oh, it’s homeless, not “unhoused”. Or in your case, deadbeat homeless.

She hates your family based on skin color.

Shocking to learn Cori Bush is a ungracious mooch. Pretty much her entire brand.
— Dr. John Doe, JD, MBA, Esq. (@XtamerlaneX) August 1, 2023
Jimmy, your fathers charity will never be acknowledged by this woman. Her whole act is being a victim of racism and white supremacy. Don’t let peoples like her keep you from being a good person.
— TomNJ (@TomNJ2) August 2, 2023
You’ll never get an apology. These are the kind of people who feel entitled for stealing from someone and blame others for their life events.
My father had a similar situation with a tenant. They enjoyed over a year free and in the end tried everything to get more free stuff.

In addition to Bush’s “unhoused” bill of rights scheme, she is also one of the biggest reparations grifters in Congress, having recently called for $14 trillion in payouts to undeserving blacks as payment for a nonexistent debt that’s a figment of her imagination.
