Because “The View” just isn’t crazy enough, the ladies welcomed MSNBC conspiracy queen Rachel Maddow to the table and she didn’t disappoint with a paranoid theory about former President Donald J. Trump.
During Wednesday’s edition of the popular ABC daytime talk show, Maddow dropped by to hawk her new book “Prequel: An American Fight Against Fascism” which likens the American right to – yawn – Hitler’s Nazis, and during one segment, warned that if the 2024 frontrunner wins next year’s election, he might literally kill her and her fellow MSNBC propagandists.
The longtime host and top purveyor of the discredited Russiagate hoax, Maddow said that a Trump win could have the MSNBC team brought up on charges of treason and given the death penalty, something that her viewers and other left-wing fanatics have been wishing on the former president.

“I mean, the Republican Party right now has to make a decision and it’s their decision to make. We have party processes for a reason, but ultimately if you listen to what Trump is saying; you don’t sort of regard him as a spectacle but listen to what he’s saying. He’s basically portraying a future for America, if he is put back in the White House, in which we don’t have another election after that,” she claimed.
“Yeah,” exclaimed co-host Whoopi Goldberg.
“That’s right,” agreed Joy Behar, the ringleader of the shrieking harpies.
“Ever,” Whoopi emphasized.
Maddow added, “Because the elections are all rigged, that the democratic process can’t be trusted, that Congress should just work for him, the Justice Department should juice work for him. That’s a strong man form of government. That’s not what we have.”
“He’d cancel the news. Like, the new, you’re done,” cohost Sara Haines chimed in.
Maddow then predicted, “He wants to put MSNBC on trial for treason so that he can execute us. I mean, this is…”
Not to be outdone with zany predictions, Behar chirped, “And he will put Rudy Giuliani on the Supreme Court.”
“If he makes it that long, sure,” Maddow agreed,” adding. “I mean, it is – The Republican party is – If they’re going to elevate somebody like that to represent their party in a general election, not only do we have a 50/50 shot of him being back in the White House. Any major nominee has a 50 percent shot, but the Republican Party will have to reckon with that for — till the end of time in terms of what they did to this country.”
In addition to seeming like she’d been binge-watching “The Man in the High Castle,” Maddow was likely referring to Trump’s calling for a probe of NBC and MSNBC, the “enemy of the people” in a Truth Social post from last month.
“They are almost all dishonest and corrupt, but Comcast, with its one-side and vicious coverage by NBC NEWS, and in particular MSNBC, often and correctly referred to as MSDNC (Democrat National Committee!), should be investigated for its ‘Country Threatening Treason.’ Their endless coverage of the now fully debunked SCAM known as Russia, Russia, Russia, and much else, is one big Campaign Contribution to the Radical Left Democrat Party,” Trump wrote.
