Rashida Tlaib suddenly mum as she scurries away from inquiry about Hamas atrocities

Trash-talking “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) was uncharacteristically silent when she was asked about atrocities committed by Palestinian terror group Hamas against Israeli women and children.

On Tuesday night, the Israel-hating Democrat was confronted by a reporter at the U.S. Capitol after earlier reports of the discovery of 40 Jewish babies that had been murdered by the Islamist savages and that many had been decapitated.

Tlaib, who has been slammed over her Israel-bashing statement after the Hamas terrorist attacks, was tight-lipped when asked by Fox News correspondent Hillary Vaughn for her comment on the butchery.

“Congresswoman, Hamas terrorists have cut off babies’ heads and burned children alive, do you support Israel’s right to defend themselves against this brutality?” Vaughn asked as the “Squad” member silently scurried away.

“You can’t comment about Hamas terrorists chopping off babies’ heads?” Vaughn persisted, holding her phone out to Tlaib who has rarely passed up an opportunity to spew her anti-Semitic remarks about the Jewish democracy as left-wing lawmaker continued walking with the sound of her heels echoing off the marble walls in the mostly empty building.

“Congresswoman, do you have a comment on Hamas terrorists chopping off babies’ heads? You have nothing to say about Hamas terrorists chopping off babies’ heads?” Vaughan repeated as she chased the fleeing bomb-thrower through the hallway.

She asked, “Do you condone what Hamas has done, chopping off babies’ heads, burning children alive, raping women in the street?”

“You have no comment about children’s heads being chopped off?” Vaughn repeated as Tlaib and her party navigated the maze of the Capitol corridors, heading toward an elevator.

“Congresswoman, why do you have a Palestinian flag outside your office if you do not condone what Hamas terrorists have done to Israel?” the dogged reporter inquired as a man who was with Tlaib cast a menacing glare at her as they entered the elevator, the doors hissed shut as she asked, “Do Israeli lives not matter to you?”

Vaughn was referring to the foreign flag that Tlaib has been proudly displaying outside her Capitol office, one which the Palestinian Democrat has refused to remove after the attacks out of respect for the victims and America’s top ally in the volatile Middle East region.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to call out the “Squad” member’s hypocrisy.

In other Tlaib-related news, a radical Islamic activist with ties to Hamas who has sponsored fundraising events for the anti-Israel Democrat is accusing the Jewish state of engaging in a “genocidal war against the people of Gaza.”

On Tuesday, Salah Sarsour who serves as president for the Islamic Society of Milwaukee shared a flier on social media announcing an event called “Gathering In Support of the People of Gaza” accusing Israel of “intentionally bombing” apartment buildings where “innocent people” live and that electricity, food, water and medical supplies have been cut off for over a million children.

The flier does not mention the inconvenient fact that Hamas massacred over 200 people at an outdoor music festival, slaughtered Israeli civilians in their homes on a Jewish holiday, and reportedly chopped the heads off of babies. Over 1,000 Israelis were murdered by the Palestinian terrorists.

“Such a glaring omission is unsurprising from Sarsour, who played a direct role in raising funds for a Hamas front group in the late 1990s, according to an FBI memorandum. Sarsour now serves on the national board of American Muslims for Palestine, which issued a statement Saturday claiming ‘Israeli violence’ was the root cause of the Hamas invasion,” according to the Washington Free Beacon.

“It’s a position Sarsour shares with Tlaib, for whom he co-hosted a fundraising event in July 2018,” the outlet noted.

“The path to the future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance,” Rep. Tlaib said in a statement.

“The failure to recognize the violent reality of living under siege, occupation, and apartheid makes no one safer,” the Jew-hating Democrat continued. “No person, no child anywhere should have to suffer or live in fear of violence. We cannot ignore the humanity in each other. As long as our country provides billions in unconditional funding to support the apartheid government, this heartbreaking cycle of violence will continue.”
