Now that the House of Representatives has a new speaker, Republicans got back to business by moving to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) over her blatant antisemitism and for inciting a mob to invade the U.S. Capitol complex last week.
On Thursday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene introduced a motion to censure the Jew-hating “Squad” member not only for promoting Hamas propaganda by blaming a Gaza hospital explosion on Israel, a falsehood that has been completely debunked but also for heated rhetoric that further maligned America’s critical Middle East ally.
Topping it off was the invasion of the Cannon Building by left-wing anti-Israel activists after the Michigan Democrat gave a fiery, emotional speech at a rally, an occupation that was strikingly similar to the so-called “insurrection” that according to Tliab’s fellow party members, could have toppled the entire U.S. government.
“Today, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene introduced a privileged censure resolution for Rashida Tlaib following last week’s insurrection at the United States Capitol by Israel-hating, America-hating Jewish Voice for Peace led by Representative Tlaib,” read a statement posted to MTG’s website.

“Congresswoman Greene’s privileged resolution will require the House to consider the resolution on the floor within two legislative days. The Congresswoman expects every Republican to vote in support of her resolution and hopes some Democrats will vote in favor as well to join together in a bipartisan manner in denouncing antisemitic, anti-American behavior from Members of the House of Representatives,” the statement read.
Tlaib reacted to Greene’s censure resolution by mimicking terrorists in using human shields to protect herself, in this case, “Jewish peace advocates” whom she invoked in a statement that also accused the Republican lawmaker of Islamophobia.
“Marjorie Taylor Greene’s unhinged resolution is deeply Islamophobic and attacks peaceful Jewish anti-war advocates. I am proud to stand in solidarity with Jewish peace advocates calling for a ceasefire and an end to the violence. I will not be bullied, I will not be dehumanized, and I will not be silenced,” Tlaib said.

“I will continue to call for ceasefire, for the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid, for the release of hostages and those arbitrarily detained, and for every American to be brought home. I will continue to work for a just and lasting peace that upholds the human rights and dignity of all people, and ensures that no person, no child has to suffer or live in fear of violence,” the extremist Democrat added.
The “Jewish peace advocates” whom she refers to are members of the far-left anti-Israel group Jewish Voice for Peace, an organization that, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), “promulgates the view that Jews who identify even tangentially with Israel are motivated by white supremacy, Jewish racial chauvinism and religious supremacism.”
Rep. Tlaib seemed to be having a pretty rough day, snapping at a reporter who confronted her about her support for the Hamas terrorists.

“JVP uses its Jewish identity to shield the anti-Israel movement from allegations of anti-Semitism and to provide the movement with a veneer of legitimacy,” the ADL states in its comprehensive report on Jewish Voice for Peace.
