Rasmussen deals gloating Nikki Haley a humiliating reality check

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is crowing over a Quinnipiac poll showing her beating President Biden while former President Trump loses to him, but Rasmussen provided context that seemingly tanks that claim.

“BREAKING: A new @QuinnipiacPoll confirms it again – in a head-to-head matchup, I beat Joe Biden and Republicans take back the White House. Donald Trump loses big and we end up with President Kamala Harris,” Haley wrote on X.

The poll shows Haley beating Biden 47% to 42%. It also shows Biden beating Trump 50% to 44%. It didn’t take Rasmussen long to contest those results.

“Good Morning! We respectfully beg to differ with Big-Q. Our prior survey of national LIKELY VOTERS indicates Haley losing to Biden by 2-points. And today, our new national poll indicates Haley losing among Republican primary voters to Trump by – umm – over 60-points …” the polling giant asserted.

The media is primarily running with the Quinnipiac poll. Fox News plugged the poll as well. The media gloating over it indicates that Haley is still being pushed by the Left, the media, and the never-Trumpers.

However, Fox News did state, “While the Quinnipiac poll indicates Biden with a lead, many other surveys conducted in January pointed to Trump with an advantage. And a compilation by Real Clear Politics of all the most recent national surveys polling a Biden-Trump rematch indicates the former president with a 2.5-point margin over the White House incumbent.”

The Rasmussen poll looks more realistic to many Republicans. It should be noted that when third parties are factored in, it hurts both Haley and Biden and helps Trump.

Haley is foregoing the Nevada Republican Caucus which has already gone all-in for Trump. She is focusing on her home state of South Carolina. She’s in trouble there.

“The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 56% of Likely Republican primary voters would vote for Trump if the primary were held today, while Haley would get 23%. Eleven percent (11%) would vote for some other candidate and 10% are undecided,” Rasmussen reported.

Haley argues that she would be a stronger GOP presidential nominee than Trump against Biden in the general election. Despite the Quinnipiac poll bolstering that claim, Republicans across the nation overwhelmingly support Trump and tend to view Haley as part of the Deep State.

“The poll indicates Trump crushing Haley 77%-21% nationwide among GOP and Republican-leaning voters,” Fox News noted.

But you wouldn’t know that listening to the media who are still praying that Haley somehow, some way beats Trump out for the nomination. All indications are that they will be living with disappointment once again.
