Reported Katie Miller–Eric Swalwell tryst sends the left into a five-alarm meltdown

As the past of a senior Trump official’s wife reportedly resurfaces, her alleged tie to a sleazy former congressman found leftist claws come out.

Late last week, the outlet Sources Say reported that, as a 22-year-old intern, Katie Miller had a relationship with then-newly-elected California Rep. Eric Swalwell (D). While she re-upped an April post from the time of the lawmaker’s resignation over sexual assault allegations calling out the “open secret” of his behavior, conservative-hating commentators saw fit to attack Miller’s promotion of “family values” in light of her past.

Speaking with Loren Piretra as the “I’ve Had It” podcast dubbed the report a “SECRET SEX SCANDAL,” host Jennifer Welch put Trump Derangement Syndrome on display, saying, “The fact that Katie Miller refuses to call out anybody in Trump’s orbit that are all cankles deep in this Epstein ring is just really stunning to me. And at the same time talks about family values.”

Likewise, Democratic astroturf social media poster Jo Carducci wrote, “Katie Miller said she was ‘positive’ there were other interns involved with Eric Swalwell. Well, well, f*cking well. Turns out SHE was one of them.”

After the report was released, the podcaster, communications director for then-Vice President Mike Pence and wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, captioned an April post by stating, “I was an intern working on Capitol Hill,” having written in part, “While the reports of the women sexually harassed and abused by Eric Swalwell are deeply disturbing, the timing and intensity are questionable and alarming.”

Meanwhile, Swalwell, who both ended his gubernatorial campaign and resigned from Congress over sexual abuse allegations, claimed the past relationship with Katie Miller supported his view that attempts by the FBI to release files about his relationship with Chinese spy Christine Fang, otherwise known as Fang Fang, were a matter of “weaponization” of the Justice Department.

Having previously been visited by the U.S. Secret Service over a perceived threat to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, posting, “When Karoline Leavitt gets what she deserves, I hope it’s televised,” self-described “Part time Demon and agent of Satan,” Jamie Bonkiewicz reacted on X, “Katie Miller’s type appears to be the worst men in American politics. Which makes perfect sense because garbage attracts garbage.”

Noticeably absent from the talking heads that brought about the “MeToo” hashtag and pushed the slogan “believe all women” was any sort of acknowledgement that Miller, then Katie Waldman, may have been the victim of a predator. Instead, the same people who believed former Vice President Kamala Harris was qualified to lead the free world opted to demonize Miller, spreading further allegations and describing her as a hypocrite who used physical relationships to advance her career — prompting others to call out the attacks.
