President Donald Trump declared that minorities are rejecting socialism and communism in a social media post.
The president posted the message to Truth Social on Sunday afternoon, claiming black and brown voters are shying away from the increasingly popular Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) that is taking more space within the Democratic Party.
Look:
Black and Brown Voters don’t want Communism or Socialism — Not surprisingly, they are flocking to the Republican Party! They remember that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican! President DONALD J. TRUMP

“Black and Brown Voters don’t want Communism or Socialism — Not surprisingly, they are flocking to the Republican Party! They remember that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican!” he wrote.
This comes as the rise in popularity of DSA candidates is positively impacting the otherwise stagnant Democratic Party. Even Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is hesitant to denounce the burgeoning movement, as evidenced by a recent presser when he called Democrats a “big tent” party.
Watch:
“Is the rise of the DSA good for your party?”
Chuck Schumer (D): “We are a big tent party, and being a big tent party is a strength, not a weakness.”
They’re admitting it now.

“Look, we are a big tent party, and being a big tent party is a strength, not a weakness,” he said of DSA’s rise.
He even went so far as to endorse Michigan Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed, who previously called for the Senator’s replacement.
“Look, at the end of the day, the current minority leader has given all of us ample reason to question whether or not he would be our best bet heading into a cycle where we might have the majority, and I think there’s absolutely room for change,” he said. “Chris Van Hollen would be perfect.”
But that didn’t stop Schumer from embracing the young socialist.
“Democrats are united by a common purpose: putting a check on Donald Trump by defeating his Republican enablers and taking back the Senate. We look forward to working with Abdul and Democrats across Michigan to win this seat in November,” he said in a joint statement with Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) Chair Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-New York. “Mike Rogers is a rubber stamp for Donald Trump, backing the same reckless agenda that has driven up costs for working families, imposed chaotic tariffs that have hurt Michigan’s auto industry, and put special interests ahead of the people of Michigan. Michigan voters already rejected Rogers after he walked through Washington’s revolving door to enrich himself. They’ll reject him again in November and send Abdul El-Sayed to the United States Senate.”
