Reporter accuses left-wing media of purposely putting a target on his back

Journalist Nick Shirley is accusing the media of making him a “target” over his reporting on fraud in Minnesota.

Joining Fox News Channel’s The Big Weekend Show on Sunday, Shirley closed out his segment by addressing his experience with trying to continue his work exposing fraud now that his reports have become the topic of national discussion.

“I want to talk about your endeavors,” Tomi Lahren said. “Because of the Learing Center, you are famous worldwise, so people see you coming now and that’s going to be an obstacle for you, because I know you are very invested in exposing and you have a lot of work ahead of you. How you navigate that while being recognizeable now? Now people love you and people hate you.”

“It’s funny how I became somewhat polarizing, when it was just, helping everyone in the country to figure out where their tax dollars are going. So I don’t try to hide anything because I don’t have anything to hide. So when I do go to confront a fraudster and they start running from me, what is it say about the fraudster? They’re committing some sort of fraud because if they didn’t have anything to hide, they would just confront me as well. So I don’t plan to disguise myself, I don’t have anything to hide,” Shirley revealed. “If they have something to hide, it goes to show what I’m doing, I might be onto something with these fraudsters.”

“Part of what you did in the early days, before the Learing Center, is you were out there in some of these Antifa protests, you were out there in these globalize the intifada protests. I mean you name it, you were there,” Lahren said. “I asked you about going to Newark where they have another thing kicking off there, and you said it would be too dangerous for you.”

“Because of the left-wing media did to me when I exposed this broad, even Governor Tim Walz called me a white supremacist, all these other people call me racist which is completely not true, but the radical left now believes that, so I have a target on my back so I don’t plan to go to Newark or much of this Antifa stuff. Maybe then I would have to get into disguise, maybe I’d play their game and get in black bloc. But it does make it harder for me to go those situations which still need to be shown.”
