President Donald J. Trump vowed to restore order in Los Angeles as mob violence erupted over the weekend after efforts by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to deport illegal aliens spiraled into chaos. Rioters were filmed burning and spitting on American flags as Mexican flags were proudly waved.
Areas of the “City of Angels” were the scene of fiery rioting, with the situation on the verge of engulfing the nation’s second-largest city, one that has been ruled for decades by Democrats who are determined to prevent the deportation of their future voters by any means necessary.
Showing the strong leadership that was completely lacking from his predecessor, Joe Biden, Trump called out the National Guard and directed top federal officials to “liberate Los Angeles from the migrant invasion” that has made Democrat-controlled cities indistinguishable from third-world hellholes, one of them being LA.
“A once great American City, Los Angeles, has been invaded and occupied by Illegal Aliens and Criminals. Now violent, insurrectionist mobs are swarming and attacking our Federal Agents to try and stop our deportation operations — But these lawless riots only strengthen our resolve,” Trump said in a Sunday post to Truth Social.

“I am directing Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi, in coordination with all other relevant Departments and Agencies, to take all such action necessary to liberate Los Angeles from the Migrant Invasion, and put an end to these Migrant riots. Order will be restored, the Illegals will be expelled, and Los Angeles will be set free,” the president vowed.
Democrats howled in outrage over Trump’s calling in the National Guard to put down the insurrection against the federal government.
“I have formally requested the Trump Administration rescind their unlawful deployment of troops in Los Angeles county and return them to my command,” California Governor Gavin Newsom said in a post to X. “We didn’t have a problem until Trump got involved. This is a serious breach of state sovereignty — inflaming tensions while pulling resources from where they’re actually needed. Rescind the order. Return control to California.”

“This morning, President Trump deployed the National Guard into Los Angeles,” Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass wrote on X. “Deploying federalized troops on the heels of these raids is a chaotic escalation.”

Failed presidential candidate and ex-veep Kamala Harris, who lives in Los Angeles, issued a statement defending the riots as “overwhelmingly peaceful” and blasting Trump’s “cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division.”

It should be pointed out that Democrats also took the side of the criminals during the George Floyd race riots of 2020, with Harris helping to raise bail money to put Minneapolis rioters right back out on the streets.
“He does not believe in the Constitution; he does not believe in the rule of law,” communist Bernie Sanders told CNN’s Dana Bash in a Sunday morning appearance on “State of the Union,” with the cable “news” network continuing to platform the most extreme Democrat voices.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), one of the Senate’s most unhinged members, accused Trump of inciting chaos and described the restoration of order as “un-American.”
Let’s be clear: this isn’t about “law and order,” it’s about creating chaos.
Our National Guard should be used when absolutely necessary and when local law enforcement needs it—

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) condemned attacks on law enforcement officers, although it was more out of fear that Trump would use the mayhem to his advantage than any sincere deviation from the party’s war on ICE.
Los Angeles — violence is never the answer. Assaulting law enforcement is never ok.
Indeed, doing so plays directly into the hands of those who seek to antagonize and weaponize the situation for their own gain.
Don’t let them succeed.

The president also left open the possibility of sending in the Marines, not taking anything off the table to quell the Democrat-instigated mayhem.
BREAKING: Trump says he is more than willing to send in Marines if things get much more out of control.
“The bar for sending Marines is what I think it is.”

“Governor Gavin Newscum and ‘Mayor’ Bass should apologize to the people of Los Angeles for the absolutely horrible job that they have done, and this now includes the ongoing L.A. riots. These are not protesters, they are troublemakers and insurrectionists. Remember, NO MASKS!” Trump said in a Sunday night post to Truth Social.
