Salon owner’s tirade against Trump voters has customers ‘dropping like flies’

A public meltdown over Project 2025 propaganda found an Idaho salon owner readily torpedoing her own business as she revealed her clients were “dropping like flies.”

Talking heads of corporate media weren’t alone in having to cope with the outcome of the election and the understanding that supporters of President-elect Donald Trump were all around them. However, Tiffney Prickett, the owner of Voiage Salon in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, struggles with Trump Derangement Syndrome have put a snag in her business after railing against the GOP leader.

A week after the decisive victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, Prickett took to TikTok in what could readily be described as an audition for a spot on MSNBC to claim, “Trump basically gave small men the ability and the courage to be misogynistic and hateful and say sh*t like, ‘Your body, my choice,’ and, ‘You won’t have a choice,’ and ‘You will bear my child whether you like it or not.'”

“The comments are so gross. The things men say to women are so gross. And I don’t know why more men don’t come to defense of women. I don’t know why men witness aggressions towards women and they just stand idly by and do nothing. I don’t understand it,” she went on and added, “I don’t understand why more men don’t have the courage to stick up to these small men who think that they can do whatever they want and say whatever they want to women. And I’m f*cking sick of it.”

Worth noting, Coeur d’Alene is the county seat of Kootenai County, Idaho where nearly 75% of voters favored Trump over Harris, and it didn’t take long for them to remind Prickett of that on the same day she posted a follow-up video.

“So this is my suffering the consequences of my own action. I just had a client send her husband into my salon and demand a refund for gift cards — pre-purchased — because of my stance that if you support a racist, homophobic, misogynist rapist, and you’re okay with those things, because you supported them, that you are in fact those things,” she maintained, “and she was so offended by that, that she said that she did not feel comfortable coming to my salon anymore.”

“I didn’t want to deal with them anyway because I knew that that whole family were Trump supporters because I’ve been doing her for 15 years, I’ve been to her family functions and family events. She’s given me gifts over the years. Like, she was a very good client,” continued the business owner, seemingly failing to grasp the disconnect between her lived experience and what she thought about Trump supporters. “I knew she was a Republican, which I don’t have a problem with you being a Republican. I have a problem with you wanting to strip human rights away from people.”

“I will stand up for human rights and suffer those consequences,” she added while suggesting interracial marriage and the rights of women, homosexuals, and gender ideologues were at risk.

Amid the ongoing posts reacting to the pushback over her stance, Prickett asserted, “If I lose my business because…I posted a video that said if you support a racist, misogynist, homophobic, rapist, and you’re okay with it, then you are those things, I guess I lose my business.”

“They’re dropping like flies,” she noted of the loss of clients while contending she would “rather go work at Chipotle” than let Trump supporters “feel comfortable” in her business.

Backers pushed for Prickett to relocate to a blue state as, like her client of record, many were ready to see her fail as spectacularly as Bud Light.
