San Fran Dem Scott Wiener vows to not let the Bible be hijacked to ‘take back’ the rainbow

California Democratic House hopeful Scott Wiener vowed resistance to those who seek to “hijack the Bible” to wrest the rainbow away from the LGBTQ+ demographic.

Wiener is running to replace self-proclaimed Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi as the representative for California’s 11th congressional district, which includes most of San Francisco, a dirty city that has long been the American Mecca for homosexuals and outright sexual degenerates.

The current state senator who has been an outspoken advocate for the transing of kids took to X on Monday with a pledge to defend the multi-colored symbol of the “Pride” movement and to not allow it to be stolen away from the alphabet people.

“We’re not letting them hijack the Bible to ‘take back’ the rainbow. The rainbow is about Pride. It’s about our beautiful LGBTQ community. And it’s about San Francisco beauty & joy. Happy Pride!” Wiener wrote, sharing a video of a new laser light display at San Francisco’s Civic Center featuring 49 rainbow beams directed into the sky.

What the aspiring congressman seems to be referring to is the “Take back the rainbow” campaign led by religious conservatives to restore the rainbow to its original biblical context, representing God’s covenant with humanity, as expressed in a book written thousands of years before the Stonewall riots.

Wiener’s lack of knowledge and respect for the will of the Almighty and the holy text sparked a righteous response from X users.

“I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud,” God says in Genesis 9:13-14, with no mention of gay pride.
