A Missouri math teacher who raped an underage student has been sentenced to four years in prison and time in a sex-offender treatment program, but there’s a catch.
Circuit Judge John Beger chose to give Hailey Clifton-Carmack, 26, a break by vowing to suspend her sentence and place her on probation if she does well behaviorally during her first 90 days behind bars, according to Jefferson City radio station KJLU.
This is a courtesy rarely granted to male child sex abusers.
Clifton-Carmack was reportedly arrested in January after a student revealed her bad behavior to a school resource officer.
On Friday, 01/05/24, GRPD was contacted about a fugitive from justice who was suspected of fleeing the State of Missouri…

“The witness showed cops a photo of the victim’s scratched-up back, which Clifton-Carmack allegedly mauled when the two had sex in the witness’s driveway,” according to the New York Post.
The witness also told the police that Clifton-Carmack had previously gotten in trouble for reportedly getting too close to students.
When questioned by detectives, she denied everything and then took off for Texas for the holidays, reportedly telling her roomies that she wouldn’t be returning.
She was subsequently arrested in Texas the following month and charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree statutory rape, sexual contact with a student, and fourth-degree child molestation.
What makes the story particularly jarring is that the boy’s father, Mark Creighton, is also involved.
Remember the witness who spoke with the cops? The witness also spoke with the victim’s father. They told him they knew his 16-year-old son was in a sexual relationship with Clifton-Carmack and had used lookouts to avoid getting busted while having sex during school hours.
The father responded by saying “They are going to do it behind my back so I may as well let it happen,” according to Jefferson City station KRCG. He also vowed to lie for his son if necessary.
The father was later charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
In court, a detective said that the father “knew of the relationship of his minor child and the 26-year-old teacher and instead of reporting the information, he continued to cover for them and allowed the relationship to continue.”
The father “even allowed Hailey to come over to his residence and see the victim while he was present,” according to court documents reviewed by KRCG.
As for Clifton-Carmack, she reportedly has two children of her own — both daughters — and recently divorced her husband, Chance Carmack, an amateur mixed martial arts fighter.
She is, sadly, one of many women predators who have emerged in the modern age. According to an investigation by the Daily Mail, AT LEAST 25 female teachers across 16 states have been arrested for raping children within the past year or so.

The examples go on for days.
“[M]arried New Jersey teacher Jessica Sawicki, 37, was arrested after cops found her half-naked in the back seat of a teen’s car at a wildlife center,” the Daily Mail notes. “The mother-of-two allegedly admitted to police she and the student had ‘unprotected’ sex at least five times.”
“In Nebraska, 45-year-old Erin Ward was arrested after being caught naked in the backseat with a teen boy. The substitute teacher is married to a Department of Defense official and was quickly arrested at the scene by police,” according to the outlet.
Speaking with the outlet, Dr. Michael Oberschneider of Ashburn Psychological Services partly blamed social media for this crisis.
“Social media can serve to blur the lines between the student-teacher relationship, which can in turn open the doors to more inappropriate outcomes,” he said.
“As we’ve seen in the news, some female teachers are choosing to put out sexually focused content on sites like OnlyFans, Loyalfans, Fansly, and other similar platforms that students can then see and be part of,” he added.
