‘Say his name’: Young Missouri boy succumbs to injuries following head-on crash by illegal Venezuelan

After months on life support, a Missouri boy’s tragic death following a head-on car crash added fervor to the ongoing illegal alien crisis.

On Dec. 20, 2023, a day before Travis Wolfe’s 12th birthday, he was seated in the backseat of his parent’s Jeep when a vehicle heading the wrong way at nearly twice the posted speed limit collided with theirs. Fox 2 confirmed that Wednesday the boy had succumbed to his injuries and now the suspect, a Venezuelan national, is in custody facing charges that included involuntary manslaughter.

“1,700 feet is quite a big distance to travel at over 70 miles an hour on a 40-mile posted road. That’s a long way to travel in the wrong direction and not realize it,” Hazelwood Police Department Sgt. Scott Schnurbusch told the outlet.

As it happened, Endrina Bracho, the suspect described in court documents as “here illegally from Venezuela” was said to be driving a minivan with her own children in the backseat when she had crashed into the Wolfe’s vehicle.

The accident sent all six people to the hospital.

“He hit his head on the window and possibly the roof as well. So, he’s got damage in his brain stem and his brain as well,” Wolfe’s brother-in-law Dusty Wildman had told the outlet before his young relative had ultimately passed away.

“For the first two weeks after the accident, Tim and Steph hadn’t even gotten to see Travis,” he added because of their own hospitalizations.

The boy’s father, Tim, had reportedly suffered broken wrists and ribs while his mother, Steph, had a broken ankle and sternum. Meanwhile, their son remained on life support at St. Louis Children’s Hospital as a crowdfunding campaign sought to raise money to help with his medical expenses.

Thursday, the day after Wolfe’s death, Bracho was taken into custody by the St. Charles County Police Department as she was charged with five felony counts that included involuntary manslaughter, two counts of assault in the second degree and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree. She also faced a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle on a highway without a valid license.

With a hearing scheduled for April 8 and her cash-only body set at $500,000, Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley (R) marked the fatal accident among a growing list of tragedies that were facilitated by President Joe Biden’s open border policies and posted on X, “Travis Wolfe, a 12-year old Missouri boy killed by an illegal migrant. This is what an open border does. Say his name.”

Bracho’s arrest came the same day as Biden’s State of the Union address where he was confronted over the death of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley who was allegedly killed by a Venezuelan national whom he later regretted referring to as “illegal.”
