Senator Adam Schiff claimed President Trump’s plan to deport illegal aliens who are caught stealing is simply a “terrible overreach.”
Speaking on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday, the California Democrat and perpetual Trump-hater told host Kristen Welker that while the new administration has the authority to deport the criminals, he is against deporting Dreamers “for taking a tube of toothpaste.”
“Let’s talk about President Trump’s agenda now, particularly on immigration and the border,” Welker began her question to the senator who received a pre-emptive pardon from former President Joe Biden as he left the White House.

“Congress, of course, passed a bill to address the border. Some of your Democratic colleagues from border states actually signed on. This is the Laken Riley Act, a bill, just so folks understand, that would effectively allow law enforcement to detain and deport those who have been convicted of theft-related crimes,” she continued.
“In a statement explaining his vote, your colleague, Arizona’s Democratic Senator Ruben Gallego said this, ‘We must give law enforcement the means to take action when illegal immigrants break the law to prevent situations like what occurred to Laken Riley.’ Who was, of course, killed by someone who was undocumented,” Welker said. “You voted no on that. How do you respond to Senator Gallego?”
“Look, the administration already has the authority to detain people that have committed violent crimes for deportation, and they should, but this bill is so broad that if you are a Dreamer and you take a tube of toothpaste from the store, you can be detained for deportation,” Schiff replied.
“That, to me, is a terrible overreach.”
Adam Schiff. in defending his vote against the Laken Riley Act, compares an illegal murdering a young American girl to a “dreamer” stealing a tube of toothpaste. This followed his tantrum about Pres Trump’s J6 pardons for Americans.

“So the president already has the authority. I don’t mind confirming he has the authority, but I don’t want to broaden that to be able to deport Dreamers for taking a tube of toothpaste,” Schiff added.
Social media users blasted Schiff over his ridiculous take on deporting criminals in the country illegally.
How many crimes is enough for Shifty? These people are so stupid.

Their crimes began when they illegally entered the country.

No it’s not over reach. If they came in illegally, they are given more rights and benefits than citizens! They should not steal. They get free everything and cash. It’s not right.

Yep, wanting to brush your teeth is exactly the same as to rape, murder, and chop humans into pieces
