Schumer ramming through Biden’s extremist judges while he still can

Democrats may have lost control of the Senate but they can still do a lot of damage before President-elect Donald J. Trump takes office in January.

This is especially the case when it comes to further defiling the federal judiciary with left-wing ideologues and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is going to try and ram through the remainder of the Joe Biden-nominated judges before time runs out,

Schumer personally pledged to continue to approve the rest of the Biden nominees, activists in robes who will serve the party as roadblocks to the fundamental changes that the American people just voted for.

“The Senate will continue confirming @POTUS’s highly qualified nominees,” the New York City Democrat said in a Wednesday X post.

Schumer’s Democrats have already confirmed 215 of Biden’s judges with the most recent being magistrate Jonathan E. Hawley who on Wednesday was given a lifetime seat on the U.S. District Judge for the Central District of Illinois.

“We’re going to confirm every possible federal judge in the lame duck session,” the Democrat-controlled Senate Judiciary Committee vowed in a post to X.

Activists are also applying pressure on Senate Democrats to give them cover to use the lame-duck session to seat judges cut from the same cloth as the ones who have been a rubber stamp on the lawfare used against Trump and other conservatives.

“Senate Democrats cannot give up and go home just because they lost the chamber,” said Skye Perryman, an adviser to the left-wing judicial activist group Demand Justice. “It is even more critical now that good, qualified, fair-minded judges are confirmed so they can serve as a backstop and uphold the rights of ordinary people and protect our Constitution.”

Dreams of radically overhauling the Supreme Court to nullify a 6-3 conservative majority were crushed when the GOP retook control of the upper chamber, adding to their 53-47 majority when the race in Pennsylvania was called for Republican David McCormick, although Dems are furiously pulling out all stops to hold onto the seat.

The new president-elect urged Republican senators to hold the line against the further politicizing of the federal courts.

“Additionally, no Judges should be approved during this period of time because the Democrats are looking to ram through their Judges as the Republicans fight over Leadership. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THANK YOU!,” Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social earlier this week, weighing in on the race to replace Mitch McConnell as leader of the new Senate majority, a secret ballot won by Sen. John Thune (R-SD) on Wednesday.

The White House demanded that Biden’s judges be confirmed before the current congressional term expires.

“Regardless of party, the American people expect their leaders to prioritize the rule of law and ensuring the criminal justice system can function effectively in every state,” Senior White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates said in a statement.“Delaying the confirmation of strongly qualified, experienced judges takes a real-life toll on constituents and leads to backlogs of criminal cases — meaning there is every urgent reason for Republicans and Democrats to continue working together in good faith to staff the federal bench.”

“There is no excuse for choosing partisanship over enforcing the rule of law,” Biden’s spox added.
