Schumer slams ‘MAGA judge’ for not letting Biden violate constitution with student debt relief order

In today’s progressive-left-dominated Democratic Party, the ends justifying the means is part of the party’s very fabric.

On Thursday, two days after the midterm elections, a federal judge in Texas ruled that President Joe Biden’s plan to cancel hundreds of billions of dollars in student loan debt is unconstitutional and must be vacated, Reuters reported.

The ruling by U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman, an appointee of former President Donald Trump, was expected by many, yet leave it to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to not only feign discontent over the ruling — even he had to see it coming — but to further exploit the political ploy to assist in the coming Senate runoff election in Georgia, which will likely decide the balance in the Senate just as the Peach State did in 2020.

“This MAGA judge is siding with the special interests over what’s best for the people. This is why we need a Senate Democratic Majority,” Schumer said in a tweet. “But the law is on our side and we will keep fighting for the millions of Americans with student debt.”

Schumer’s newfound passion for the issue came after he faced a potential primary threat from U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. — student loan debt is a key issue for the self-described socialist who’s still in hock over her Boston University education.

Suffice it to say, social media was able to glean what was really going on with Schumer’s efforts… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
