Sean Hannity makes announcement about big move

Fox News host Sean Hannity is “done” with New York and announced that he is moving to a “free” state where there are those who “share my values.”

The host of Fox News’s “Hannity” told listeners on his iHeartRadio show on Tuesday about the decision, revealing that he has decided to move to Florida, citing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Rick Scott (R-Fla.) as examples of those whose conservative values are more aligned with his own.

“If anybody is listening to this program for any length of time, I’ve been threatening now to do this for quite a while,” he said during a live broadcast of “The Sean Hannity Show” on Tuesday. “But we are now beginning our first broadcast from my new home, and that is in the free state of Florida.”

“I am out. I am done. I’m finished. New York, New York, goodbye,” the 62-year-old conservative host added, saying, “it’s great to be here.”

His Long Island, New York, home has long been the broadcast location for his Fox News radio and TV programs though he occasionally headed to the New York City network headquarters.

“And finally for the first time that I can think of in my adult life, I actually have representatives in the state that I’m living in that share my values,” Hannity said.

Florida is also the home now of former President Donald Trump, who relocated from his New York home and lives in Palm Beach. Hannity’s former Fox News colleague, Tucker Carlson, made the move to the Sunshine State where he broadcast from before he was fired by the network.

“So I’m feeling a lot better about it, and I’m not going to go through the whys. The how comes because it’s obvious this migration out of the blue states with high taxes, burdensome regulation, high crime, horrible school districts is real,” Hannity told listeners.

“And if anything, I’m probably late and behind the curve and many others have made the move beforehand,” he added, “and there’s not a single person that I know who’s made a move like this who isn’t happy they made it.”

Hannity reportedly owns a three-bedroom, five-bathroom home in Palm Beach and, last year, he was seen at The Colony Palm Beach Hotel with fellow Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt, who is reportedly in a relationship with him.

“The weather’s better, the people are nicer,” Hannity said on his radio show Tuesday. “I was walking around town and every person I met could not have been nicer to me.”
