Sen. John Kennedy (R) offered up a Louisiana lambaste on “privilege and sleaze” demonstrated by President Joe Biden and his son relating to the allegations he summed up as “Hunter-gate.”

While much of corporate media had their attention turned to former President Donald Trump’s surrender and subsequent mugshot at the Fulton County Jail, Fox News host Sean Hannity kept an eye on the allegations that, as of yet, had seen no accountability.
Bringing in the senator, the host re-upped concerns of a two-tiered, and in this case partisan, justice system as he asked for an analysis related to the collective findings in the probe of Hunter Biden’s business deals and his then-vice president father’s alleged connection to them.
“Well, it seems to me, Sean, that Hunter-gate is about two things: privilege and sleaze. First, the privilege. President Biden and many members of the media lecture us incessantly about the injustice of privilege, especially so-called white privilege,” expressed Kennedy. “But, to me, that’s like being lectured about gun safety by Alec Baldwin.”
As the live audience reacted with laughter to the line, the senator continued, “Because when they lecture us about privilege, they never mention Hunter Biden, who is the epitome of privilege.”
“How did Hunter Biden earn these millions of dollars? Is it because he’s so smart?” he mused as he turned to the infamous laptop from hell. “How smart is it to turn over a laptop with incriminating information to a stranger? How smart is it to try to deduct your hookers on your federal income tax?”
“Did the Ukrainian and Chinese companies pick Mr. Hunter Biden because they were impressed with his resume on ZipRecruiter? No. It was his daddy,” ripped Kennedy. “It was always about his daddy. Hunter Biden is just a vessel.”
“He’s just a lucky sperm,” continued the Louisiana congressman. “And the next time that you are lectured — we are lectured about privilege, I want people to remember that.”
Worth noting, even CNN’s Jake Tapper had used the word “sleazy” in describing the allegations made against the Biden family when he had asked House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) about a recent memo pointing to the then-vice president’s participation in phone calls with his son while the junior Biden was in business meetings.
“So let’s pause it for the sake of argument that Hunter Biden is sleazy and the president’s relatives tried to profit off the Biden family brand, something CNN has reported on,” Tapper said, “what’s new in the memo?”

Unlike the anchor who denied having “seen any evidence that the president did anything wrong,” Kennedy would go on to contend the evidence presented thus far is “clarion clear that President Biden was well aware of what his son was doing and he aggressively enabled it. And that’s sleazy.”
