Senate Republicans will hold a hearing on the cover-up of Joe Biden’s “cognitive decline” next month, the first official probe into the scandalous “conspiracy” to hide the former president’s senility from the American people.
The Senate Judiciary Committee investigation will be headed up by Sens. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.), and John Cornyn (R-Texas) who announced the June 18 hearing on Thursday as questions swirl over how the mentally incapacitated and at times, barely functional Biden was falsely presented to the public as steady and competent, an illusion that was shattered with his infamous CNN debate performance last summer.
It’s time to expose how a cadre of Biden aides and family members were the de-facto commander-in-chief, while President Biden was sidelined.

“For four years, when the American people saw Joe Biden, they saw someone who was clearly not capable of making major decisions for the nation. Yet those closest to the president and the mainstream media did everything they could to hide this truth,” Schmitt said in a statement.
“It’s time to expose how a cadre of Biden aides and family members were the de-facto commander-in-chief, while President Biden was sidelined. I look forward to getting the American people the answers they deserve,” the Missouri Republican added, according to Fox News Digital.
“For this conspiracy between mainstream media, Joe Biden’s family, and his inner circle to have hidden the impairment of the president of the United States for years, and lied consistently to the American people about his capacity to make decisions, which are solely vested by the Constitution, is unacceptable,” Sen. Cornyn said in a statement.
The Texas Republican said that the nation depended “on having a president who has the mental capacity to do the job, and it’s clear that President Biden did not, so we must use this hearing to uncover the facts.”
The hearing comes after nearly four years of administration officials, the Biden family, top Democrats, and the media all insisting that the dementia-addled career politician was capable of carrying out his duties, with anyone who pointed out the obvious being smeared as a right-wing conspiracy theorist.
Now that CNN anchor Jake Tapper’s book about the covering up of the disgraced ex-president’s cognitive deterioration has made it permissible to ask the obvious questions, congressional Republicans seek to get the answers, with GOP House lawmakers also gearing up with their own probes.
Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Ga.) has introduced legislation to create a bipartisan select committee that would delve into “the potential concealment of information from the American public” about Biden’s true condition.
“This is potentially the biggest political scandal of our lifetime, and the American people deserve to know the truth about who was really running the White House under Biden’s tenure as president. From using the autopen to pardon his own family members to likely concealing a cancer diagnosis, our government must restore trust with the public by fully investigating the former administration’s lies and getting to the bottom of one of the most consequential coverups in history,” Carter said in a statement.
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) has invited several former top Biden aides to participate in transcribed interviews on their role in working “behind the scenes” to cover up the mentally feeble former leader’s condition.
“The cover-up of President Biden’s obvious mental decline is a historic scandal. The American people deserve to know when this decline began, how far it progressed, and who was making critical decisions on his behalf. Key executive actions signed by autopen, such as sweeping pardons for the Biden Crime Family, must be examined considering President Biden’s diminished capacity,” Comer said in a statement.
