Senator pleads for money for Trump, sets up donation website … under LindseyGraham.com

GOP lawmakers reacted to the unprecedented arrest and arraignment of former President Donald J. Trump, a day that will forever live in infamy after the vindictiveness of Democrats put an indelible stain upon the nation, and one of them, Senator Lindsey Graham called for financial support for the embattled 2024 GOP frontrunner.

The South Carolina Republican appeared on Tuesday’s edition of “Hannity” where he condemned the actions of George Soros-backed Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg and made an emotional appeal to Fox News viewers for financial support to help combat the far-left party’s weaponizing of the legal system.

“Do you believe that equal justice under the law and equal application of our laws is dead?” Graham was asked by host Sean Hannity.

“It may be,” the senator replied, pointing out that there are a different set of rules for Democrats like the Clintons. “But we got one last chance here to straighten this out. I just told you a Democratic president lies under oath regarding sexual matters. They’re not prosecuted. A Democratic secretary of state running for president destroys 33,000 emails under subpoena. They’re not prosecuted.”

Sen. Graham trashed Bragg’s trumped-up case as so much “legal garbage” and later, while appearing to struggle to maintain his composure, appealed for viewers to donate their hard-earned money to roll back the Democrats in next year’s critical elections.

“Tonight I have set up a website. I don’t get one damn penny but I want you to give money tonight to help President Trump,” he said. “He’s raised $8 million since this legal garbage started, don’t stop now.”

“Seventy percent of the money you give tonight goes to help President Trump. 30% will help take back the Senate,” added Graham. “We got a chance to pick up three Senate seats in very red states held by Democrats. I want to wake up after the election in 2024 with a Republican House, a Republican Senate, and Donald Trump raising his right hand, swearing to be the president of the United States that we need.”

“You are not helpless out there folks,” he continued in his appeal that had echoes of televangelist Jimmy Swaggert. “The off-ramp to a banana republic is to win in 2024 the House, the Senate, and re-elect Donald Trump. How can you help? You can pray, you can give, Lindsey Graham.com. Blow up the internet tonight. Help this man, help America while we still have a country worth saving.”

“And we do have one last chance to not become a banana republic,” he said, adding “2024 is the most important election in my lifetime. America literally is at stake as we know it, is at stake as we know it. I’m sorry I’m so upset. But please help President Trump.”

“If you can afford five or 10 bucks, if you can’t afford a dollar, fine. Just pray. Make sure you vote as early as you can in your state. Don’t risk anything anymore. Vote as soon as you can. Pray for this country. Pray for this president. And if you’ve got any money to give, give it,” pleaded Graham.

Now viewed as one of Trump’s most ardent congressional defenders, it wasn’t always that way for the Palmetto State senator who previously railed against the America First president back when he was a candidate, sounding every bit like a Democrat in denouncing him as a race-baiting xenophobe before warming to him.

“This is political persecution,” Graham said during an appearance on Hannity’s show last week. “This is a combination of political hatred and selective prosecution on steroids. To those who are listening tonight, if you believe Donald Trump is being treated poorly and wrongly, stand up and help the man. Pray for our country. Pray for him.”
