Marjorie Taylor Greene denounces Trump’s legal lynching in NYC: ‘This is what happens in communist countries’

As she has repeatedly shown during her time in Congress, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is fearless, never more so than when she ventured into the belly of the beast to support former President Donald J. Trump at his arraignment in lower Manhattan and she had some choice words for Gotham’s Democrats whose charging of Trump was straight out of the old Soviet Union.

On Tuesday, the uncompromising Georgian braved being arrested and thrown into one of the left-wing party’s dungeons like the January 6 political prisoners when she traveled to the filthy, rat-infested, crime-ridden hellhole where she protested against the unprecedented charges brought against a former U.S. president and the Republican Party’s 2024 frontrunner, using a handheld megaphone to deliver her message while surrounded by a hostile throng that emanated pure hatred at the outsider during her brief trip behind enemy lines.

“I came to your state to peacefully protest against the persecution of an innocent man,” Greene said while speaking to protesters as disruptive leftists shouted and blew whistles to drown her out. “Not just any man—this is the former president of the United States of America, and the government has been weaponized against him.”

“I’m here to protest and use my voice and take a stand. Every American should take a stand,” the conservative lawmaker added. “This is what happens in communist countries, not the United States of America. We have to take a stand against the injustice, the corruption, and the communist Democrats who are taking our legal code and twisting it, manipulating it, and converting it into something it was never meant to be.”

Rep. Greene also blasted New York City Mayor Eric Adams after Hizzoner singled her out by name on Monday, making a veiled threat that “rabble-rousers” like her would be locked up if she dared to step out of line.

“You called me out by name. While you allow crime in your streets and you sent your henchman down here… Democrats are the party of violence, she said.

During her brief speech, Greene was repeatedly menaced by left-wing thugs, including one whom she identified as the city’s public advocate.

“The New York Public Advocate Jumaane Williams was one of Mayor Adam’s thugs blowing a whistle at me in the park today across from the courthouse while I peacefully protested and used my free speech rights to protest the weaponization of government and persecution of President Trump, ” Greene tweeted along with the alleged assailant’s bio. “The Democrat Party and Democrats in government are Antifa.”

She also posted a text alert calling for miscreants to turn out to “make noise” and to bring pots and pans, whistles would be supplied.

In another tweet, the fiery congresswoman called for Mayor Adams to prosecute the public advocate who harassed her, “The Mayor called me by name and threatened me giving a dog whistle of violence against me. Will @NYCMayor prosecute his very own New York Public Advocate @nycpa Jumaane Williams?”

Among the angry mob was Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) who rudely berated his GOP colleague days after the male “Squad” member made headlines for screaming at Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) in another one of his childish temper tantrums at the Capitol.

“Communist Democrats arrested President Trump because he’s the only man standing in their way as they fight for a hostile takeover of America,” Greene tweeted after Trump’s arrest. “We will never abandon him.”

She also blasted Mayor Adams on Tuesday’s edition of Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast, accusing him of unleashing his goons on her.

“He called me out by name. He called me out by name and threatened me. He warned me, and I’ve never broken a law in my life. I’ve never committed violence. Everyone knows this, but by doing what he did — it was a dog whistle,” Greene told Bannon.

“It was a dog whistle to the radical left here in New York City, and he sent them, and I fully believe that, and that’s how I feel. He should have never done that. You know, a mayor of a city is to welcome members of Congress and to make sure that they’re safe,” Greene said.
