‘She’ll be exposed’: Trump looks forward to debating Kamala Harris – says she treated Pence ‘horrible’

Former President Donald Trump looks forward to having Vice President Kamala Harris “exposed” in the upcoming presidential debate.

The Republican presidential nominee spoke of the opportunity to face off against his Democrat opponent in the scheduled September 10 debate during a Fox News interview with Mark Levin on Sunday. The wide-ranging discussion also had Trump recalling the way Harris had treated former Vice President Mike Pence during a debate, calling it simply “horrible.”

Speaking with host Mark Levin, Trump mocked Democrats and the media for “all of a sudden” rebranding Harris as a “wonderful” vice president since she took over as the party’s nominee after President Joe Biden was pushed aside.

“But she’s not wonderful,” Trump said on “Life, Liberty, and Levin” Sunday. “So we have a debate coming up, and I look forward to that, and she’ll be exposed.”

Trump repeated his criticism of Biden being replaced on the Democratic ticket by a “coup” as Harris garnered “no votes” in securing the nomination. Like many Americans, the former president also questioned who is running the country since “Biden’s on vacation all the time.”

“Now they have Kamala, who they say has many deficiencies, but she’s a nasty person,” Trump said.

“The way she treated Mike Pence was horrible. The way she treats people is horrible,” he added, referring to the 2020 vice presidential debate when Harris admonished Pence who interrupted her.

“Mr. Vice President, I’m speaking,” she said at the time. “I’m speaking.”

Trump warned about a Harris presidency, calling her out as a Marxist and recounting her “vicious” treatment of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his 2018 confirmation hearings.

“I call her comrade Kamala because she is radical left. She’s a radical left Marxist. And that’s what she is. And she’ll destroy our country,” he told Levin. “There’s not going to be any fracking in Pennsylvania.”

“And for her whole life, she fought people like I’ve never seen anything like it…look at the way she fought Justice Kavanaugh. The viciousness and the violence,” he said. “She’s a Marxist.”

“Oh, she was vicious. Oh, she was the most vicious. She was going after them,” Trump said, referring to Kavanaugh and Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch.

“The way she treated Justice Kavanaugh during that hearing in the history of Congress, nobody’s been treated that way,” he said of Harris who was a senator on the Judiciary Committee at the time.

The vice president was also the target of Trump’s anger concerning the southern U.S. border and how the immigration crisis was essentially ignored at last month’s Democratic National Convention.

“And when you watch her, like at the convention, oh, everything’s just peachy,” he said. “But migrant crime is turning out to be a disaster. Many, many people are killed and raped and mugged and everything else. These are tough people, but they let them out of jails.”
