Shellenberger expands on Jan 6 pipe bomb mystery: ‘House of Cards about to fall’

Evidence has emerged that the infamous Jan. 6th pipe bomb outside the DNC headquarters in Washington, D.C. was never meant to detonate and may have been a hoax cooked up by the feds themselves.

The evidence includes the jarring fact that current Vice President Kamala Harris had driven by the bomb without many even caring at the time.

“Then-Vice President-elect Kamala Harris drove within several yards of a pipe bomb lying next to a bench outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters on January 6, 2021, and remained inside the DNC for nearly two hours before the bomb was discovered,” CNN confirmed in January of 2022, a year after the Jan. 6th riot.

According to journalist Michael Shellenberger, even Harris seemed entirely indifferent to the fact that she’d driven by a pipe bomb.

“In an interview with the Los Angeles Times on January 17, 2021, Harris never mentioned the potential assassination attempt,” Shellenberger reported for Public News on Saturday. “In fact, Harris’s near-death experience was unknown until the Department of Justice revealed it in a court filing in November 2021.”

Not until earlier THIS YEAR did the FBI admit that the bomb could have killed someone, including the vice president.

“Although these bombs did not detonate, it is important to remember the suspect walked along residential and commercial areas in Capitol Hill just blocks from the U.S. Capitol with viable pipe bombs that could have seriously injured or killed innocent bystanders,” the FBI said in a Jan. 4th statement.

The evidence also includes the authority’s lack of interest in the guy who’d alerted them to the bomb.

“A video … shows that a passerby with a backpack alerted Capitol Police officers sitting in their cars outside the DNC that there was a pipe bomb nearby,” Shellenberger noted in his Public News post.

“But the FBI didn’t even try to find the individual who reported the DNC bomb, even though [the FBI’s Washington Field Office Director, Steven] D’Antuono[,] admitted the person would be a prime suspect,” he continued.

Also, it took over a minute for the Capitol Police officers outside the DNC to exit their cars. And furthermore, they seemed indifferent to the fact that there was a group of children nearby:

Another piece of evidence includes testimony from Kyle Seraphin, a former FBI agent who worked on the investigation, that the bomb lacked the necessary parts to work and was therefore inoperable and harmless.

“Technicians from the Joint Program Office for Countering IEDs, Seraphin stated, told him the devices lacked the necessary assembly to work,” according to Shellenberger.

And then remember the FBI’s Washington Field Office Director, Steven D’Antuono? When testifying, he too admitted to Rep. Thomas Massie that the bomb wouldn’t have worked.

The final piece of evidence is the fact that despite the FBI having video footage and photos of the pipe bomb suspect texting on a cell phone, they have evidently been unable to track him down.

“The phone would allow the FBI to find the user based on the time and location. However, the data from the phone company that could have identified the suspected bomber was mysteriously corrupted,” Shellenberger noted for Public News.

Interestingly, this fact was revealed by D’Antuono.

“There’s some data that was corrupted by one of the providers,” he testified. “Not purposely by them, right. It just — unusual circumstance that we have corrupt data from one of the providers… it wasn’t purposely corrupted. I don’t want any conspiracy theories…”

Unusual circumstances indeed …

All these facts have led Shellenberger, who warns the “January 6 House of Cards is about to fall,” and others to the conclusion that the pipe bomb was a hoax committed by federal authorities themselves for reasons that remain quite unclear.

“[T]he ‘bomb’ appears to have been a hoax created by and covered up by the FBI and the Secret Service,” Shellenberger tweeted Saturday.
