Shock poll claims Florida Senate race is tight with radical leftist

We are seeing a familiar script unfold in Florida’s Senate race, with new polling attempting to frame the contest between incumbent Sen. Ashley Moody and Democratic challenger Angie Nixon as a dead heat.

A fresh “shock poll” claims the candidates are locked in a 42% tie, pointing to a surge for Nixon among independent voters. The results serve as a convenient narrative, particularly when stacked against the reality on the ground: a massive 1.5 million voter registration lead for Republicans across the state.

Rather than measuring public sentiment, modern political polling often functions as a tool to manufacture momentum. The formula is predictable — release an unexpected poll showing a razor-thin margin, then watch the mainstream media eagerly amplify the narrative.

To the surprise of few, polling of the Florida’s governor’s race is reflecting an equally tight margin, with Republican nominee Byron Donalds in a statistical tie with Democratic nominee David Jolly — a former Republican who switched parties to run for governor — 44% to 43% respectively.

As seen above, Peter Schorsch shared the results online. Conveniently, St. Pete Polls reportedly conducts many of its surveys in partnership with, and on behalf of, the regional news site Florida Politics, which is published by Schorsch.

Schorsch does double duty as a political consultant. He is closely aligned with Charlie Crist, another former Republican who had the misfortune of taking on Gov. Ron DeSantis in 2022. Crist had his brakes beat off, losing by nearly 20%, or 1.5 million voters — the outcome was the biggest win for a Republican in the state’s modern history.

(Crist is in an election runoff for mayor of St. Petersburg, and lo and behold, Schorcsh’s wife serves as the campaign chair and head of the supporting political committee for Crist’s mayoral campaign.)

As for Nixon, she’s a fire-breathing, Kool-Aide drinking leftist who pushed away from an earlier embrace of socialism after beating carpetbagger Alexander Vindman in the Democratic primary — this being the same Alexander Vindman who played a pivotal role in the first sham impeachment of President Donald Trump

Nixon has publicly declared that Republicans are “literally trying to kill us.”

“They’ve been doing it in the black community and now they are doing it even more so with ICE — ICE is now a paramilitary force that is designed to terrorize us,” she said.

The Democrat also loves drag shows and has boasted about taking her own children to them, declaring, “It’s wholesome entertainment!”

She has also stated that she knows “for a fact” that Trump is “laying out his plan” to stay past 2028.

“This guy is laying out his plan,” she said in a podcast with the left-leaning MeidasTouch’s Scott MacFarlane. “He’s laying the foundation and the groundwork to not leave in 2028. He’s weaponized an agency, ICE, and created a paramilitary force designed to terrorize people in their communities to see how far he can go.”
