Fox News host Brian Kilmeade is taking major heat for a contentious interview with Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett.
Burchett was one of eight Republicans who voted to vacate longtime California Rep. Kevin McCarthy from his seat as House speaker.

The motion was risky and many Republicans were against it, but if the reaction on social media from conservative constituents is any indication, Burchett and his ousting allies made the right move.
That, however, is not how Kilmeade apparently saw it and appeared hostile and somewhat emotional when he confronted Burchett, even appearing to mock the congressman’s prayer before he made the decision.
The fiery, and now viral clip can be watched below.
DISGRACE TO JOURNALISM: Fox News Brian Kilmeade (@kilmeade) launches full-scale attack against @RepTimBurchett who voted to oust Kevin McCarthy. This is such a disgrace to journalism and one of the worst and most arrogant interviews I've ever seen. WATCH pic.twitter.com/EC42mMbOL0

Your interview with Tim Burchett was one of the most cringe, disgusting, condescending interviews I’ve ever seen in my life. Sickening.

Yikes!
Burchett, however, has been taking it in stride and responded on X to the clip by explaining that Kilmeade was only doing his job and that the duo “handled it well.” The GOP Rep received plenty of accolades for taking the high road:
It’s fine. I think we handled it well. https://t.co/hkgZ0Kpq1c
— Tim Burchett (@timburchett) October 4, 2023
You handled it superbly!

Tim, thank you for properly representing the people of your district in East TN. Unfortunately, I am not one of your constituents (wish I were), but we greatly appreciate your candor, following your faith and conscience, and doing the right thing. Keep standing up to the DC Swamp…

I beleive you did the right thing. Just shows the real problem is very widespread.
