‘I represent my district, brother’: TN rep stands ground against ‘disgraceful’ grilling from Brian Kilmeade

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade is taking major heat for a contentious interview with Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett.

Burchett was one of eight Republicans who voted to vacate longtime California Rep. Kevin McCarthy from his seat as House speaker.

The motion was risky and many Republicans were against it, but if the reaction on social media from conservative constituents is any indication, Burchett and his ousting allies made the right move.

That, however, is not how Kilmeade apparently saw it and appeared hostile and somewhat emotional when he confronted Burchett, even appearing to mock the congressman’s prayer before he made the decision.

The fiery, and now viral clip can be watched below.

Responses to the clip came in hot and heavy, here are just a few out of thousands:

Yikes!

Burchett, however, has been taking it in stride and responded on X to the clip by explaining that Kilmeade was only doing his job and that the duo “handled it well.”  The GOP Rep received plenty of accolades for taking the high road:
