Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price got to experience the high crime rate in her district personally when her car was burglarized after she called the area “safe.”

Her progressive criminal justice reforms have resulted in skyrocketing crime but Price is still in office despite a recall effort after she had only held the position for six months following her election in 2022.
The Soros-backed district attorney had her work laptop stolen after a smash-and-grab involving her car which was parked outside a family justice center in Oakland on Friday at about 3:30 p.m. near 27th Street and Telegraph Avenue. It’s not known what exactly was on the laptop that was taken.
According to ABC7, her bodyguard parked the $90,000 Tahoe SUV outside the building and when he returned, he found the windows smashed and the laptop gone.
Price was advised after the theft occurred to report the theft online to the police and wait for an officer to show up, according to the Daily Mail.
In the clip below of an interview earlier this year, Price was asked if she felt safe living in Oakland and she replied, “Yes, I do. I live in East Oakland even and I know a lot of people say, ‘Oh that’s terrible!’ I feel safe.”
Remarkably, she also said in the interview, “The DA’s role has really no impact on crime.”
Soros-backed DA Pamela Price was just the victim of a car burglary in her own district of Oakland. The thugs stole her laptop and smashed her windows.
The DA called the cops and waited an hour. They didn’t come. She was forced to file a report online like everyone else.

A source from the Oakland Police Department told the Daily Mail that Price waited an hour for police to arrive before finally deciding to report the theft online. She is not commenting on the incident and no one has been arrested so far.
“On Saturday, OPD confirmed the burglary in the area saying in a statement to ABC7, officers learned that multiple individuals broke into a vehicle, took several items and then fled the area in a vehicle with the loss,” ABC7 reported.
The Washington Free Beacon first reported that Price was backed by billionaire investor George Soros who reportedly gave her $130,000 and secured her boyfriend a six-figure position in her office. Following her election, the district attorney has implemented very progressive policies towards crime and criminals in general.
As crime has surged in the area, Price has faced stiff criticism over it. Oakland NAACP leaders called for a state of emergency back in August due to out-of-control crime. They blamed the “Defund the Police” movement and Price in a letter sent to the district attorney.

Multiple sources confirm Alameda County District Attorney Pam Price’s laptop was stolen in an auto burglary at 28th and Telegraph this afternoon around 3pm.

“Failed leadership, including the movement to defund the police, our District Attorney’s unwillingness to charge and prosecute people who murder and commit life-threatening serious crimes, and the proliferation of anti-police rhetoric have created a heyday for Oakland criminals,” the letter charged. “If there are no consequences for committing crime in Oakland, crime will continue to soar.”
In a tone-deaf response, Price’s office replied that she was “disappointed that a great African-American pastor and a great African-American organization would take a false narrative on such an important matter.”

Before that letter, in March, Price lobbied to reduce prison and jail time for criminals. That included sentences for murderers.
Many have been victims of crime in the Bay Area as lax policies set criminals free and failed to convict many of them. Price is now experiencing that trend first-hand.
