‘Source? Hamas?’ Ayanna Pressley challenged over claim ‘Gaza has become a graveyard for Palestinian children’

Congressional Democrats are spewing propaganda about civilian casualties in Gaza to pressure President Joe Biden to demand a ceasefire from Israel that would allow Hamas terrorists to regroup, much of it coming from the mouths of “Squad” members.

On Friday, Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) shared a Washington Post story claiming that Gaza has become a “graveyard” for children and added her own rhetorical flourishes for good measure.

“With children accounting for 2 out of every 5 civilian deaths, Gaza has become a graveyard for Palestinian children,” Pressley wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Babies are buried under mountains of rubble. Israel must stop the bombing and we must have a #CeasefireNOW to save lives.”

According to the WaPo story, “More than 3,700 children have been killed in Gaza since the war began on Oct. 7, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. Families are mourning not just their own losses, but what feels like the loss of an entire generation,” citing figures from an agency controlled by Hamas which has no motivation for telling the truth with the Israeli military waging a campaign to wipe the terror organization out.

The left-wing lawmaker’s reliance on numbers from a questionable source was challenged by X users who expressed skepticism about their legitimacy and why a member of the United States Congress is siding with and parroting propaganda from the terrorists.

Pressley’s “Squad” cohorts are intensifying their pressure on the geriatric president to force Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop the anti-terror operation with Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) posting a video showing graphic images of dead bodies and bloody children to X on Friday, accusing Biden of being complicit in genocide, a term that has been overused by the left for everything from Gaza to trans rights.

“Children have accounted for 2 out of every 5 civilian deaths in Gaza, according to Jason Lee, Save the Children’s director for the Palestinian territories. That does not include some 1,000 children the group estimates are still trapped under the rubble,” according to The Washington Post which quoted the humanitarian group official as claiming “We are now in a situation where one child is killed every 10 minutes.”
