Special needs student allegedly branded ‘bigot’ by teachers for not wanting to learn about lesbian sex

A California special needs student named Thelma Gonzalez was allegedly branded as a “bigot” by teachers after she made the mistake of not using preferred pronouns, balking at taking part in a lesson about lesbian sex involving “scissoring,” and refusing to take her clothes off near male teachers.

When the girl’s mother, Marina Vivar, heard about it she was enraged, according to Fox News. She had originally signed her daughter up for a course on health and relationships at Glendale High School. When she did so, she checked off a box that excused her from being taught about “anything LGBTQ+ or about sexual acts which were gay in nature.” That selection was obviously ignored.

Vivar gave a speech in front of the Glendale City Council informing them that her desire to exempt her daughter from such instruction was not honored by the school staff. Her daughter was reportedly subjected to sexual content involving lesbian sexual topics such as scissoring and using a female condom.

Gonzalez told her teachers that she should not be in the class covering those topics. The mother is asserting that the teachers then called her daughter a “bigot, intolerant and homophobic.” She was also allegedly chastised for not using the preferred pronouns of others.

According to the mother, the girl did not understand what those terms meant because they are never used in their home. The only place she could learn the terms was at school. According to Vivar, due to the child’s disability, she never would have come across them on her own.

“My teachers were going to send me to the principal office when I told them that it was against my beliefs and that I felt uncomfortable,” Gonzalez stated in front of the city council.

“She simply expressed that due to her Christian beliefs, it goes against her morals. At that point a staff member told her to look at her skin color,” the mother recounted.

The mother noted that Glendale High’s principal Benjamin Wolf conducted an investigation and outrageously concluded that nothing inappropriate took place.

“The lesson Ms. Vivar is referencing was a general lesson from the health textbook about making healthy decisions in your relationships. The teacher did ask Ms. Vivar’s daughter to refrain from making inappropriate remarks in response to a reference to LGBTQ+ relationships,” Glendale High Communications Director Kristine Nam told Fox News Digital, evidently blaming the student who was reportedly victimized by woke teachers.

“We have investigated the interaction and have not found any evidence that inappropriate remarks [for instance, referring to the student as a ‘bigot’] were used by the teacher. We will continue to thoroughly investigate,” Nam lamely added.

Gonzalez also complained that she felt very uncomfortable changing clothes for gym class.

“I once got in trouble in the girls’ locker room because I did not dress down in front of other people,” she recounted. “There are male teachers inside the girls’ locker room talking to Ms. Lewis. Her office [which is inside the locker room] has her door open and there are male teachers inside her office.”

“I never wanted to see that, that’s why I don’t dress out to P.E. I was scared, I was terrified because I was afraid of an adult male staring at me while I was changing. That’s why I don’t change,” the girl insisted.

The principal called Gonzalez’s recollection “inaccurate” and asserted that male teachers have no reason to be in the girls’ locker room.

“At no point would a male teacher or coach have reason to enter the girls’ locker room. Male and female coaches have separate offices and these offices are completely separate from the locker room changing areas,” Nam claimed. “Even if a male coach were to enter the female coaches’ office, the office does not have a window into the girls’ locker room. It is a completely different space separated by a brick wall.”

This is the same school district that has been blasted recently after a policy update was revealed that allows educators to lie to parents about a student’s gender identity, The district also sent LGBTQ+ educational materials to teachers for use during pride month without parental knowledge.

Reaction to the accusations was heated:
