‘Squad’ member brutally reality checked after she laments Biden admin’s ‘heavy-handed’ border enforcement

U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) has some “serious concerns” about the border crisis.

President Joe Biden’s administration has been too “heavy-handed” in its enforcement of immigration laws.

Yes, the “Squad” member actually said that with a straight face during a House Judiciary subcommittee hearing on illegal immigration on Thursday — but judging from the reactions, it’s likely she wishes she hadn’t.

“There is so much fearmongering going on that it is difficult to know exactly where to start,” Jayapal said.

“The Biden administration is enforcing immigration laws,” she insisted. “In fact, the administration has been so heavy-handed in recent months that I have serious concerns about how they are conducting border enforcement.”

“This is especially true when it comes to the administration regulations that limit access to asylum and the use of expedited processing procedures for families,” she continued, according to Fox News Digital. “Today there are nearly 38,000 people in immigration and customs enforcement detention, which, by the way, is what the Trump Administration averaged in fiscal year, 2018. But if you listen to my colleagues on the other side, you would think that there are zero people in detention.”

“The Biden administration has also significantly increased removals in a way that I worry violates migrants’ due process rights and their ability to lawfully seek asylum,” she stated. “Since the end of Title 42 last year, the Biden Administration has removed or return to Mexico over 400,000 individuals, including over 65,000 individual members of family units, including children. This total is nearly equivalent to the number of people removed in all of fiscal year 2019 under Donald Trump, so the idea that the administration is not enforcing the law is ridiculous.”

As BizPac Review has been reporting, the overwhelming number of migrants entering the U.S. has, as of August, eclipsed the number of babies born to citizens of our nation, and progressive mayors and governors have failed miserably on their promises of being “sanctuary” cities

With pressure mounting from within his own party and the presidential election fast approaching, the administration has turned to Mexico for help in securing the border, but Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has made demands to the tune of more than $20 billion for the nation’s assistance.

Meanwhile, Biden’s Border Patrol has done such a disgraceful job in Eagle Pass, Texas, that Gov. Greg Abbott called in the state’s National Guard and kicked the federal agents out of the area.

On Thursday, U.S. Rep. Bob Good (R-Va.) warned that a “Hamas-like situation” was likely, given that “they don’t know where 75% — they admit it! — they don’t know where 75% of the individuals they’ve let into this country, which is in the range of eight million, so 6 million they acknowledge we don’t know where they are.”

None of this was lost on X users, who blasted Jayapal for being a stone-cold liar:

“I am speechless,” exclaimed one stunned user.

“Delusion at the highest levels,” stated another.

“What is she smoking?” asked a third.

For one X user, Jayapal’s remarks were reminiscent of an eerily prescient George Orwell novel.

“The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” — 1984
