‘Squad’ member won’t stop crazed pro-Tlaib rant even after her mic gets shut off

The new breed of House Dems are as heavy on histrionics as they are light on actual legislative ability and the performance by “Squad” members as they mounted a crazed defense of Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) was truly something to behold.

On Tuesday, as the debate over the censuring of Tlaib for her anti-Semitism was being conducted, her cohort Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) uncorked the type of unhinged racially-charged rant that could be expected of a Black Lives Matter activist.

Bush’s deranged diatribe went on for well after she was gaveled down and her mic cut off with her shouting continuing in a temper tantrum more befitting of a preschool than the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

It’s outrageous that my colleagues are blatantly, blatantly attempting to silence the only Palestinian-American representative,” she said. “It’s outrageous but its not surprising and let me tell you, it’s not surprising because this place is where 1,700 members of Congress, this elected body, enslaved black people.”

“It’s not surprising because they thought it was right. It’s not surprising because this is the place where members continue to claim that the insurrection on the Capitol just appeared to look like a normal tourist visit,” Bush raved, wheezing with hysteria.

“It’s not surprising because this is the place where our black and brown staff members repeatedly speak of experiencing racism and sexism, Islamophobia, you get pushed off of elevators. Xenophobia and more right her in this workplace,” she screamed as the sound of the gavel is heard pounding and goes on even after her mic has been shut off.

The congresswoman’s performance didn’t get many rave reviews from X users who overwhelmingly gave her two thumbs down.

Also going off was Somali-born Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) who has consistently given Tlaib a run for her money when it comes to shilling for Hamas and hating on Jews.

Despite the theatrics, Democrats weren’t able to prevent the censure of Tlaib with 22 of them breaking ranks in an extremely rare deviation from the usual lockstep unity of House leftists. The measure to put a permanent black mark on her record passed 234-188-4 on Tuesday night but is unlikely to shut her up.
