Starbucks employees have struggle session over new dress code, whine they can’t ‘express’ themselves

A video of “woke” Starbucks employees griping over a reported dress code is making the rounds for all the wrong reasons.

It’s not that folks can’t voice an opinion over changes they might not agree with; it was the delivery of the complaints that earned plenty of scorn and mockery.

More importantly, an employer has a right to demand that its employees portray at least an iota of professionalism. A fact that is entirely lost on the Starbucks employees, who claimed the dress code was implemented illegally.

Before we get to the video of the woke struggle session, let’s take a look at the reported dress code changes:

Pretty basic stuff, and two shirts given to employees so they don’t have to wear (and potentially ruin) their own clothes seems like a fair ask. But that doesn’t appear to be the mindset for Starbucks employees who desire to “express” themselves through their appearance.
