On the eve of Election Day, following just over a month of daily rallying across nearly half of the country, the chief executive continued his unapologetically America First agenda in an effort to inspire the reluctant and apathetic. As such, while he recognized midterms favor the minority party, a litany of accomplishments found Trump asserting, “We’re not gonna let it be torn down …”

With the Washington Monument in the background, the president delivered remarks by the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool regarding its reopening. There, he also wove in timely commentary on the state of the union and the stakes of the election, expressing, “As you know, this is the last day before the midterm elections, the most important midterm, I believe, in our lifetime. The Democrat Party has nominated the most extreme and dangerous slate of candidates in American history.”

“These are the most dangerous candidates ever put up. There’s never been anything like what we’re seeing. Jihadists and Muslim Brotherhood members and people that nobody can even believe what we’re looking at, and all committed to the same radical agenda,” continued Trump as he reminded of gender ideology, globalist open border policies and pushes for tax hikes among other positions of the left.

“We fought for 250 years to make it great. We’re not gonna let it be torn down by a bunch of people that have failed everywhere they’ve been,” insisted the president. “The Democrats want to blow all of this up by electing communist jihadists. And the United States Congress will not allow that to happen.”

On the flip side, Trump touted his own record on energy, employment, exports, border security, Second Amendment rights and the economy as he insisted, “We have to keep our Congress strong, free, a little bit of apple pie; something very nice about that.”

As he had on the campaign trail with stops in 20 different states, repeatedly holding multiple rallies in a single day, the head of the Republican Party emphasized the trend of the left to align with terrorist sympathizers and the increased sway the radicals are having over the Democratic Party.

Faced with that, Trump reminded about the strong turnout in 2024 and argued, “if the people that voted for me and voted in the last election where we had such a great victory, if they go out and vote, just a good portion of them, we will win in a landslide.”

Still, recognizing the historic trend against the sitting president, the president remained grounded ahead of polls closing Tuesday evening, remarking, “we gave this a very strong shot.”
