White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller took a flamethrower to the left’s love of rent-controlled housing by pointing out a few shocking facts.
Miller joined NewsMax to shred New York City’s rent-controlled housing, expressing his outrage at its high migrant population.

“Forty percent of the population of rent-controlled housing in New York City are foreign-born. Think about that. In one of the largest metropolitan places in the world, 40% of rent-controlled properties are being lived in by people who weren’t even born in the country? What kind of system is this?” Miller asked. “We bring in people from foreign countries, and then we pay to lower the cost of their housing? While people who were born here have to pay higher prices?”
“So when President Trump is reducing that migration, that is what’s ultimately, along with all these other steps, deregulation, historic tax cuts, gonna bring down the cost of housing,” he added.
X users weighed in on Miller’s take:
How does the city of New York control who the rent-controlled apartments get rented to? Doesn’t that get decided by the apartment owners?

We need to stop ALL illegal and legal immigration. Illegal – permanently. Legal – until we implement a system that eliminates the fraud and the insane perks.

But they keep bringing foreigners in — so please make it make sense. They’re talking out of both sides of their mouths, and it’s infuriating.

Add to that the percent of foreigners gobbling up subsidized housing…. Americans are getting discriminated against for the public services we paid for our our forefathers built and paid for.

Our whole system is nothing but betrayal… and NOTHING will change unless there’s a 30 yr MORATORIUM on ALL immigration!

As always, its the American people who pay the price for bad government
