Steve Hilton calls on Americans to stop listening to ‘idiot’ experts destroying our country

Fox News host Steve Hilton ripped into self-appointed “experts” and those who listen to them on Sunday night, claiming they’ve been “devastatingly wrong” about every major issue from the COVID-19 pandemic to the economy and have used their power with impunity to destroy the country.

“That’s the number one rule of government by ‘expert idiot,” Hilton stated. “No one is ever held accountable, however much they screw up. Which of course we see in the absolute crowning glory of the expert idiot’s takeover of the coronavirus pandemic.”

“We don’t have time to go into all of it now,” he said, “the forced wearing of masks that don’t work, the social distancing zealotry that was an old playbook for a different disease, the cruel and counterproductive lockdowns and school closures — we could go on all night.”

“The Next Revolution” host pointed to the unmerited confidence the so-called experts displayed, only to be proven “completely” wrong.

“Let’s just take a moment to remember the vanity, the self-importance, the sheer brazen certainty of these expert idiots who turned out to be so completely, devastatingly wrong,” he urged viewers.

“Of course, it is all laughable now how wrong the experts were, how wrong the vast majority of the establishment media were to trust the experts,” he continued. “But it keeps happening. The establishment never learns.”

And because they never learn, said Hilton, Americans must stop giving the experts the power to make crippling decisions in their lives.

“[W]e cannon just subcontract vital decisions about our lives to the experts,” he said. “Wherever you look — the pandemic, crime, the military, the economy — what the experts have done to this country is an absolute travesty.”

“And even if it wasn’t anti-democratic to put all this power in their hands — which it is,” he continued. “Even if it didn’t contradict the very idea of what America was built on, self-government — which it does — on a basic practical level, government by experts doesn’t work because as we have seen time and time again, the experts are idiots.”

Indeed, as American Wire reported, even President Biden’s treasury secretary had to come right out and say, “I was wrong” when it came to inflation.

“I think I was wrong then about the path that inflation would take,” Janet Yellen said of her previous prediction that inflation would be nothing more than “a small risk.”

But even when they find it in themselves to admit they were wrong, they are dishonest about the reasons for their mistake.

“As I mentioned,” Yellen told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, “there have been unanticipated and large shocks to the economy that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks that have affected our economy badly that I didn’t — at the time — fully understand, but we recognize that now.”

Yellen was referring to a new strain of COVID-19 and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but at no time did she suggest that perhaps closing our pipelines and printing trillions of dollars may have contributed to the record-breaking inflation.

But at least Yellen admitted she was wrong.

Dr. Anthony Fauci couldn’t even do that.

Despite being fully vaccinated, Fauci contracted COVID-19 and still, absent any data to suggest it would make any beneficial difference, he continued to push the vax for use on children as young as five years old.
