‘Stylin’ Jill Biden’: First lady’s coronation wardrobe prompts thoughts

Despite repeated ribbing online, First Lady Jill Biden’s wardrobe choices continued to evoke upholstery making one social media influencer’s simping for “Stylin’ Jill Biden” all the more blatant.

“I use those same gloves to clean my oven.”

At every turn, President Joe Biden has demonstrated that his supposed foreign policy prowess was nothing more than bluster. Having fostered increased tensions abroad and drawn the United States and allies closer to World War III, this weekend the president committed another flub by breaking the tradition of dispatching a delegation to attend the coronation of King Charles III by instead sending his wife as a mere guest of the festivities.

On top of the already negative message the apparent snub conveyed, the first lady’s formal wear once again left much to be desired to discerning viewers.

Accompanied by granddaughter Finnegan Biden, the president’s wife appeared in a blue ensemble that set outspoken, and paid, leftist influencer @BrooklynDad_Defiant! beaming, “Stylin’ Jill Biden.”

Despite the positive spin, others on Twitter trusted their own eyes over the Democratic National Committee-subsidized rose-colored lenses that BrooklynDad observed the world through and either offered their own take on Jill Biden’s attire or ribbed his biased opinion.

“Can she not afford a tailor?” one person asked as another said, “Proof you don’t know what ‘style’ is and that you’re in a cult that worships government.”

Meanwhile another person joked, “I use those same gloves to clean my oven,” as more people likened the design to something like a “Blueberry burrito.”

The color itself appeared to be a nod to the administration’s continued effort to keep the war in Ukraine at the forefront of concerns as it paired with her granddaughter’s pale yellow outfit to depict a feminine representation of the nation’s flag.

If that weren’t obvious enough, while attending the reception for heads of state at Buckingham Palace, Biden had been snapped in a picture with Catherine, Princess of Wales and Ukrainian first lady Olena Zelenska in an image she captioned, “We stand with Ukraine.”

Along with fiery replies from users who declared, “We stand with America,” Biden was hit with more critiques over her outfit selection as she was once again compared to a piece of furniture.

The latest fashion foibles were part of a greater trend of gaslighting where the media has routinely doted on Biden’s every decision after years of ignoring former first lady Melania Trump, who was an actual model, simply because of politics.

Of course, the similarities to Trump’s attire from her husband’s presidential inauguration did not go overlooked, nor did Biden’s likeness to numerous unattractive characters from an array of major motion pictures or a doctor scrubbed up for surgery.
