Supercut of shameless media shills reminding America just how ‘sharp’ Biden is

President Biden’s debate performance showcased to the nation just how troubling his cognitive decline is, and no amount of media spin could erase the images left in the minds of voters of the disoriented 81-year-old president standing there with a vacant stare and his mouth hanging open.

Of course, this is not a new development for those who have been paying attention. But with Biden forcing into the open the notion that he may not have the mental acuity to be president left the usual suspects in the media in a very awkward place.

Grabien founder Tom Elliot shared a compilation earlier this month of pro-Biden media mouth breathers reassuring Americans just how “sharp” Biden really is “behind the scenes,” as former Obama henchman David Axelrod claimed back in November:

The sad reality of Thursday’s performance is that it could extend beyond whether Biden is fit to be president — now or for another four years — as seen in an epic meltdown from leftist Cenk Uygur.

“The whole time the split screen is killing Biden because he’s got his mouth open. He looks confused, doesn’t know where he is. He’s lost his train of thought at least twice in like disastrous shape. Those are gonna be played a billion times in viral video after viral video,” he ranted.

“This is an epic disaster,” Uygur continued. “It’s like I see people online saying, ‘Well, OK, that answer wasn’t so bad.’ Any particular answer doesn’t matter at all. This thing is over. He looks like he’s barely surviving. I don’t mean the debate. I mean life!”

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld summed up things well when he posted on X: “[I]f you pulled joe biden over, you’d take away the car keys and call his adult children to have the talk.”

Actor James Woods blasted Democrats, which includes many in the media, for Thursday night’s spectacle.

“There’s no way whoever is in charge of this presidency didn’t know this man was suffering from serious cognitive challenges. I loathe today’s Democrats, but when they can manage to make me feel sorry for Joseph Biden, they are more than loathsome. They are beyond reproach,” Woods observed.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to Elliot’s post, as seen on the social media platform X:
