Talarico’s church distributes Bibles that erase ‘Son of God’ from Jesus’s name: report

Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, a rabid Democrat, is a longtime member of a church that’s brimming with woke nuttery.

For starters, the Texas church, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian, hands new members a copy of the so-called “Inclusive Bible,” according to a Daily Caller investigation.

The “Inclusive Bible” is basically a fake Bible that distorts the actual Bible’s teachings by adding a bunch of woke nonsense, including so-called gender and LGBT equality.

The reportedly non-sexist “Inclusive Bible” doesn’t even refer to Jesus Christ as the “Son of God.” Instead, it refers to him as “Only Begotten,” “God’s Own,” and “Eternally Begotten.” It also gets rid of the term “Lord,” which is perceived by woke nutters to be sexist.

Undercover video footage obtained by the Daily Caller last month showed the church’s head pastor, Rev. Jim Rigby (who’s reportedly also Talarico’s spiritual mentor), telling an undercover reporter that he “typically” gives out a copy of the fake Bible to newbies “when they join.”

“It’s good on the gender stuff,” Rigby said. “The more, like, metaphysical stuff, it’s not a very good translation, if that makes sense. I think it’s really important to have a good translation so you can let go of the stupid stuff.”

The “stupid stuff” as in the ACTUAL teachings of the Bible.

The undercover footage also showed a new member named Larry being given a copy of the “Inclusive Bible” during a service.

“And Martha’s here to give Larry his Inclusive Bible,” a church member said in the video footage. “It’s the Bible that we use at this church. It’s been rewritten so that there is only inclusive language and that it doesn’t use the gender-fueled language that the King James Version uses.”

Talarico’s ties to this church run deep.

“Talarico was baptized at St. Andrew’s and has been attending services there since he was a child,” according to the Daily Caller. “Rigby also married Talarico’s parents and delivered the invocation when Talarico was sworn into the Texas House.”

According to a Texas Monthly report about Talarico published last year, he “took to Rigby at a young age” and later attended leftist political protests together in the early 2000s.

A year earlier, in 2024, Talarico bragged to Good Faith Media about how awesome he thought Rigby’s nutjob self was.

“He always told us our love for God has to grow into justice and move us from the sanctuary to the streets,” Talarico said.

Good Faith Media itself reported that Rigby “mentored and inspired” Talarico throughout his weirdo life.

Rigby was previously caught on camera admitting he hates religion:

Rigby also “avoids Christian creeds and prayers in services to avoid being unwelcoming to non-Christians, has described Jesus as closer to a ‘loving atheist than an indifferent theologian,’ compared fetal remains to ‘extracted teeth,’ and appeared to deny the Virgin Birth and the Resurrection of Jesus,” according to the Daily Caller.

He’s about as much of a real Christian as Osama bin Laden was …

That said, he seems like a perfect fit for Talarico, a leftist nutter who believes God is “non-binary” and who once described himself as a “Christian who hates Christianity.”

No joke:

Talk about one helluva Christian …
