Target gets a lump of coal in its stocking for cringeworthy ‘woke’ Christmas decorations

There aren’t any “tuck-friendly” Santa suits this holiday season but retail giant Target is facing backlash over a collection of “woke” Christmas ornaments.

The Minneapolis-based big box chain previously bore the brunt of its evangelizing for the LGBTQ+ movement when its kid-friendly “Pride” displays drew a customer boycott that cost the company billions in market value, and the leftist management team doesn’t seem to have learned its lesson.

Images of the jolly and inclusive Christmas merchandise include a handicapped black Santa Claus in a wheelchair and a nutcracker flying the multicolored homosexual banner that drew fire when it was festooned across store displays in celebration of the very special month.

Some holiday shoppers who will likely vote with their wallets gave Target a lump of coal in its stocking in their comments on the X platform.

The Washington Examiner reported that the popular retail giant has brought in a new “Senior LGBTQIA+ Segmentation Strategist & Pride Lead,” as its “latest leader for multicultural merchandising.”

“Honored to get to start a new body of work and lead Target’s LGBTQIA+ multicultural merchandising strategy and Pride businesses for the company and the LGBTQIA+ & Allied communities across the the [sic] nation,” wrote Erik Thompson, aka “gaycruella” on his Instagram page which has since been made private after he was outed by the outlet.

“Time to whip out the … Glitter & Hellfire … flamethrowers and rip that old world to shreds darlings,” he added, according to the Washington Examiner.

“Bring uplifting flair to your holiday decor with this Pride Nutcracker Figurine from Wondershop™. This charming nutcracker figurine with a light purple beard and hair wears a blue and white jacket with golden trim and rainbow lapels, black and blue dress pants, and a rainbow hat, and it also holds a Pride flag in hand. Supported on a flat base with embossed “2023” for easy placement on any flat surface, it makes a great option for displaying on your mantel, shelf or tabletop, either alone or as part of a larger holiday display,” the company says of the nutcracker figure on its website.

Among other “woke” items is a “Pride Christmas Snow Globe” that features a rainbow-colored heart with the words “Love is Love,” and plays the song “Joy to the World” per the item description and shoppers can wrap up the goodies with “50sq ft Snowflake Print Pride Gift Wrap” which, according to the website, is “Infused with LGBTQIA+ pride.”
