Jessica Tarlov joined her Fox News colleagues in criticizing illegal immigrants who are complaining about being transferred from a three-star Manhattan hotel to a shelter in Brooklyn, contending that the whole situation is embarrassing for leftists like her who support sanctuary cities.

Single male illegal immigrants who have been given free housing in New York City are carping over having to leave the hotel. They are being transported to a shelter that has free food, TV, and ping-pong tables, along with other amenities to make way for migrant families and they are upset over it.
The illegal immigrants, who were given free rooms at the $300-per-night Hells Kitchen hotel, refused to leave when asked to and were joined by migrant activists to rally outside the Watson Hotel in New York City, according to Fox News. The illegal immigrants slept in the streets for two days to make it clear they were not happy with relocation from their taxpayer-funded hotel in Manhattan to a migrant crisis center in Brooklyn.
The actions of the protesters incensed the co-hosts on “The Five” and millions of Americans as well.
The show aired a clip on Tuesday showing one male illegal immigrant carping over the “very ugly” shelter he’s being forced into and that this wasn’t satisfactory. He charged that it was like a bed found in a military barracks.

Tarlov was fed up with the complaints just as the rest of the panel was and was blunt about it.
“It’s embarrassing,” she asserted. “It’s embarrassing for people like me that say, ‘I live in a sanctuary city, I think we should live up to that promise.’”
Tarlov referred to Ellis Island which has always welcomed those who come to the United States as immigrants and then put the migrants’ situation in stark contrast to that.
“No one who got off that boat said, ‘Inside is worse than outside,’ right? Or, ‘Food is worse than no food.’ Those are your options. You legally do not belong here, at least at this point. I hope you will get a pathway to citizenship, that you’re a contributor to the New York economy and then to the greater United States economy,” she remarked.
“But at this particular moment, you’re here by the grace of our generosity and to act like that is terrible. The story we covered a couple of weeks ago – the four migrants on Long Island who started robbing stores – there should be punishments for that. And there are better people that can take those spots,” Tarlov correctly and sanely pointed out.
The asylum seeker crisis is a national problem that needs a national solution. New York City is proud to have welcomed tens of thousands of asylum seekers and given them shelter, food and resources. But we can't do this alone. pic.twitter.com/AIXfDzHwd4

Co-host Dana Perino was just as blunt, contending that any illegal immigrant who refuses to be placed in a shelter should be deported.
“One thing we should change is that if you refuse to move to one of these shelters that is being provided to you, that’s an automatic, outta here,” she stated.
“Yeah,” Tarlov wholeheartedly agreed.
“Deport,” Perino reiterated. “You’re done.”
“It’s amazing we have to make that stipulation,” co-host Greg Gutfeld noted.
“It’s really frustrating,” Tarlov concluded in rare agreement with the other panelists.
