A teacher at a Staten Island all-boys Catholic high school has resigned in disgrace over his anti-Trump ranting and raving.
The unnamed teacher was recorded last week at Monsignor Farrell High School trash-talking President Donald Trump, calling him a dictator, and eventually cursing out what appeared to be one of his pro-Trump students.
The ranting and raving reportedly started after the pro-Trump student brought up politics (presumably from a pro-Trump stance). This inspired the teacher to go off about Trump’s executive order releasing billions of water in California to fight the ongoing wildfires.

After his initial ranting, he did, to his credit, briefly apologize to the rest of his students for getting triggered into ranting about politics.
“I’m sorry to the rest of you, it’s not my job I’m not even supposed to do it, but I’m hoping to make some sense to somebody,” he said.
However, he then once again dove deep into the well of politics.
“Jesus Christ, you guys will be able to vote next time around,” he said as he began fuming. “If you vote Republican, you’re bringing us all down. The only thing that bothers me more than him [Trump] is all the puppet Republican senators and congressmen who just keep going along with it. It’s not because they believe in it.”
“You gotta know they don’t believe in it. They don’t believe in any of it. They’re just afraid he’s going to talk smack about them on Truth Social and then they’re going to lose their job in an election, so they’re doing whatever he says, which is the worst possible thing because that’s called a dictatorship!” he screeched.
I’m an alumnus of Monsignor Farrell. It was disgraceful to hear a teacher not only blast a student with political hatred, but also to use the Lords name in vain multiple times. Not the Farrell I attended. They will fix this. L4L

It was at this point that the teacher observed the pro-Trump student smiling. This set him off into an even deeper rage.
“I’m not kidding when I say wipe that smile off your face!” he yelled. “Detention, I just wrote you a referral mentally. You’re going to detention for bringing up politics in class. You wanna go for two!?”
This inspired the pro-Trump student to sheepishly push back, saying, “Control yourself, man.” Which in turn infuriated the teacher.
“Excuse me?!” the teacher barked at the top of his lungs. “After all I put up with you for the last two years? And talked you up! And stood your back when they threatened you!”
“Are you serious? Treating me with that disrespect?! Are you serious?! Are you serious?! If I could take back your letter of recommendation to college right now, I would. You talk to me like that? After everything that I’ve done for you?!” he added.
Evidently, the two knew each other on a personal level.
“Don’t ever talk to me again personally,” he concluded. “You got your letter, so now everything’s good right? You got your high grade on the midterm so everything’s good? Now you can treat me like that? After all I’ve stood up for you. You punk ass.”
After the video of the teacher ranting went viral, the school initially put the teacher on leave, after which he voluntarily resigned, according to a letter sent to Libs of TikTok by the school’s president, Louis R. Tobacco.
Glad to see school management take appropriate action in a positive manner. This furthers a feeling of confidence in Monsignor Farrell High School. Other schools could learn something from this.
When you think you’re a teacher, you have need of being taught.

“We became aware of a classroom incident that occurred last Wednesday where a faculty member expressed political views in a way that did not uphold the respectful discourse we expect at our school,” the letter reads. “Subsequently, the faculty member was placed on leave the following school day pending a review of the circumstances.”
“Unfortunately, the recent classroom events did not reflect our mission. We reaffirm our commitment to the values that define Monsignor Farrell as a place of faith, learning, and community. Therefore, we have accepted the resignation of the faculty member involved in the incident, effective immediately,” it continues.
