The standard reaction of black leftists to criticism is to blame their own failings on an allegedly racist system and a “white supremacy” that only exists within their own minds.
That was the case with Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) President Stacy Davis Gates who insisted that the miserable student performance on standardized tests despite the district’s spending of $29,028 per student a year is due to – you guessed it – racism and white supremacy.
Gates made her outlandish claim during an interview with a local black radio station that’s been drawing attention on social media.
BREAKING: Chicago Teachers Union president Stacy Davis Gates says testing is “junk science rooted in white supremacy” and “born out of eugenics.”

“When you hear individuals cite the reading levels, and the math levels of the students, and their visceral, reflexive response is to say ‘how is more money going to fix that? Don’t they have enough money?’” The host asked.
“Look at what these students are achieving now because we do have so many students that are not reading at grade level,” he continued. “So many students not at math level. What do you say to that constituency that feels like CTU is already well taken care of and they probably gets more than they need?”
“When people talk about achievement, as a classroom teacher I know that it is not linear, and the way in which we think about learning and think about achievement is really and truly based on testing,” Gates answered.
“Which at best is junk science rooted in white supremacy,” she added. “Now if you have another hour I can get into why standardized tests are born out of the eugenics movement, and the eugenics movement has always sought to see black people as inferior to those that are non-black.”
Gates is the same teacher’s union president who demanded $50 billion from taxpayers and who sent her own child to a private school after calling school choice racist.

Her sad but typical take was slammed by X users.
When their policies hurt kids, these incompetent folks blame their own failures on “white supremacy.”

Radical Marxists run teacher’s unions and everyone who pushes the idea that metrics are racists truly hates children and desires them to suffer. She is saying that schools don’t exist to help children become productive and critically thinking adults. She is so horribly evil.

Shocking but not surprising.

These people are so mentally corrupt it’s absurd. I don’t know how and why we put up with it. But we deserve what we get for allowing these people with broken brains to be in charge.

There was a time when slave owners refused to let anyone teach black children reading, writing and math. Now it is apparently the Chicago teachers’ union.

No standardized tests for students means no outcome metrics means no performance metrics for her union members… enables her to blame the environment and the need for greater funding
