Team Kamala accuses J.D. Vance of wanting to end birthright citizenship, and it boomerangs bigly

Democrat nominee Kamala Harris’s team claimed that GOP vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance will end birthright citizenship, another talking point from her issue-free campaign that has already backfired.

The newly crowned “savior” of the left-wing party has been able to lay low and avoid any unscripted appearances while letting her underlings do the dirty work and Kamala HQ may have believed that it scored a direct hit on the Ohio senator with a context-free snippet posted to social media.

“Trump wants to take away birthright citizenship. Do you agree with him on that? JD Vance: I really do,” Harris’s team wrote, sharing the five-second video on X.

But they didn’t count on actually making the case for the Trump-Vance ticket and its no-nonsense approach to the illegal alien crisis.

“Birthright citizenship is an invention of Justice Brennan, contained in a non-binding footnote in a 5-4 SCOTUS decision from 1982. And ever since then the media has force fed us the lie that this is a guarantee of the 14th Amendment. Birthright citizenship is a scam that gave us anchor babies,” one X user wrote, adding some history that Team Kamala left out.

Other users saw it as just one more selling point for the GOP ticket, the only one that would do something about the open borders policy of the Biden-Harris administration.

“Joe Biden has launched an illegal foreign invasion of our country by allowing a record number of illegal aliens to storm across our borders. All of their future children will become automatic U.S. citizens. Can you imagine? They’ll be eligible for welfare, taxpayer-funded healthcare, the right to vote, chain migration, and countless other government benefits,” Trump said in a video posted to Truth Social last year vowing to end the abuse of the 14th Amendment, the left’s favorite part of the Constitution that they routinely exploit in pursuit of their radical agenda.

“As part of my plan to secure the border on day one – my new term in office – I will sign an executive order making clear to federal agencies that under the correct interpretation of the law, going forward, the future children of illegal aliens will not receive automatic U.S. citizenship. It’s things like this that bring millions of people to our country,” the former president said.
