The “high-tech lynching” of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas may have begun over 30 years ago during his confirmation hearings but it has never ended with Democrats mounting a new push to remove him from the bench.
With the leftist mob determined to strike a blow directly at the heart of the high court’s conservative majority, the justices have been demonized and smeared with a vengeance since the shocking leak of a draft ruling that would lead to the overturn of Roe v. Wade last year, and Thomas has borne the brunt of their wrath, especially when it comes to Democrat lawmakers who are clamoring for an ethics probe.
The intensity of the hatred directed at Thomas exposes something very dark and hypocritical about the left when it comes to race, in that they despise him because he is a successful black man and Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has also come to that conclusion.

The Lone Star State Republican joined Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures” to discuss the latest attacks on Thomas stemming from a left-wing website’s hit piece about his friendship with a conservative billionaire.
“Democrats hate Justice Thomas, and they save this special degree of hate for him because he’s a black man,” Cruz stated. “And their view is an African American is not allowed to be a conservative, is not allowed to disagree with left-wing orthodoxy.”
Cruz also correctly pointed out that former SCOTUS justice Antonin Scalia who unexpectedly died in 2016 was “every bit as conservative” as Thomas but was never the recipient of the intense malice that has been directed at the court’s longest-serving justice.
“Justice Thomas they view as a traitor African-American,” Cruz said, adding, “This is a political smear job directed at Clarence Thomas because he is an extraordinary constitutionalist and the left hates him for it.”
Cruz also scoffed at Justice Thomas being singled out for taking trips paid for by others when all nine of the court’s judges do exactly the same thing, suggesting that there is a reason why the respected jurist has been singled out.
Cruz then turned to the SCOTUS leaker with this week set to be the one-year anniversary of the unprecedented security breach and still, no culprit has been found although Justice Samuel Alito just told The Wall Street Journal that he has a “pretty good idea” who did it.
“The leaking of that draft was one of the greatest violations of the trust of the integrity of the Supreme Court of the United States,” the senator said. “It was really an assault on the rule of law and if they think they know, the court needs to redouble the investigation.”
“Justice Alito said he didn’t have enough evidence, here’s what I believe the Chief Justice should do,” Cruz continued. “I believe the Chief Justice should call in the FBI to assist with the investigation.”
