Ted Cruz triggered libs with response to vaccine question at ‘People’s Convoy’ presser

Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas, rode shotgun in the ‘People’s Convoy’ for a while before appearing at a press conference with some of the truckers, and it appears to have seriously triggered the left.

The meltdown occurred because, during the presser, Cruz was asked by a reporter whether he believes the vaccines saved lives. He wasn’t about to fall for the bait, and gave an answer that, at another point in history might have been considered common sense. In this day and age, however, it is considered something akin to heresy.

“Senator, do you believe the vaccine has saved lives?” the reporter queried.

“Look, I hope so. I’m not a doctor,” Cruz answered. “You know what, why would you take medical advice from me? I wouldn’t take medical advice from me. I’m not in the business of giving medical advice. Go talk to your physician if you wanna figure out whether you should take the vaccine or not. I hope we have good doctors and good scientists that are figuring that out.”

Cue the outpouring of hatred from the left:

In that same news conference, someone off-screen screams “Ted Cruz sucks!”

To which the senator responds as only he can: “God bless you.”
