Texas Longhorns defensive end Colin Simmons is apologizing after breaking out into a “vulgar” celebration during a game that President Donald Trump attended.
Simmons was having a legendary run against the Tennessee Volunteers, where he managed to sack quarterback Faizon Brandon a whopping five times. The Longhorns won 20-17, due in no small part to the defensive ends’ efforts, but he was hit with a yellow penalty flag after one of the tackles.

The unsportsmanlike conduct penalty came after he took Brandon down, then celebrated by “simulating using the restroom” over him.
Simmons was quick to apologize when the game ended, though whether he was actually remorseful is up for the public to decide.

“I also do want to say I apologize for the celebration I was definitely in that mode, feeling myself. But, you know, it happens. Charge it to the game,” he quipped.
In an X post afterward, he praised God and asked for his actions to be forgiven.
