Last week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that he planned to send buses full of migrants up to Washington D.C., and on Wednesday, the first bus dropped off its passengers just blocks away from the nation’s Capitol.
Despite the White House quickly dismissing Abbott’s rhetoric as a “publicity stunt,” they may be singing a different tune now that he has shown his ability to make good on the promise.
Photos and videos from the area show the passengers disembarking, with officials overseeing the process.

Abbott also tweeted, claiming that he is “bringing the border” to President Joe Biden.

Biden refuses to come see the mess he’s made at the border.
