‘The Five Boroughs just woke up’: Mamdani caves, says Little Italy to be added to map

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani found out the hard way that Italian-Americans don’t mess around.

After Little Italy was left off a “New York City Immigrant Enclaves” map, the community appears to have made Mamdani an offer he can’t refuse.

Look:

“Mamdani’s decision to leave out Little Italy on his map of enclaves within New York is beyond shameful. Italian-Americans contribute so much, not just in New York City, but the entire nation. He also left out Irish and Jewish enclaves. We all know what’s going on here…” former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani wrote on Thursday.

The Italian American Civil Rights League also acknowledged the snub:

It didn’t take long for Mamdani to agree to add Little Italy, but not before effectively blaming the previous administration:
